The frost song definitely has vocal distortions lol that’s not rasp… it’s intentional on the whole song for the style and sound.. but it’s definitely heavy distorted for a lot of the song. They apply this live effect when they sing live.
The funny thing is that TXT's "Style" is that they don't have a style. their discography is just so incredibly diverse, and that is one out of many things that we love TXT for. thanks for the reaction! can't wait for you to see more!
Would you believe that they're even better live? I was lucky enough to be able to go to one of their concerts and it was astounding how amazing they were. It was my first ever concert and it was money well spent honestly. Like they are just insane live. I freaked out when they performed Frost, I was literally hoping and praying it would be on the set list because I knew it would be even better live, but the same can be said for literally every song that they performed that night.
MAGIC is on their Freeze album and basically is about the magic of finding someone special when you have been emotionally frozen. The robot humanity symbolizes the detachment that people can feel nowadays, and the TXT members hacked the robots to make them feel again (yes, it is a bit of a weird concept in the MV). If you want another rock-ish song from that album than Dear Sputnik is a must. Kai wrote and produced it. They already did a zombie Haloween concept with We lost the summer (their pandemic song which made me MOA). A sweet Christmas song is SWEET DREAMS, which can only be found here on YT. And last recommendation would be their Lollapalooza set where they performed with a live band. Except for one song I believe you saw all of the setlist now. Have fun in your TXT journey!

TXT is so unique, they really have become my favorite 4th gen group. They can pull off any concept and are just so talented. I really recommend their dance practices! Their choreos are one of the best in Kpop
New fans to Tomorrow X Together tend to be confused with their discography as most listen to their songs out of sync, as it were. As with most KPOP groups, they debuted at a young age, I think most reactors know and understand this. Big Hit kept the boys fresh and age appropriate - if you compare their photos in 2019 to 2022, you would be shocked at the difference, even their fandom MOA (Moments of Alwaysness) laugh at it (even the AMAs used a 2019 photo for their seat assignment - it was so "Power Puff" and very funny!). TXT songs in each Chapter address what the members/their fandom would be experiencing - it was conceptual, as KPOP does this, but they connected with it emotionally. So, if you're cherry-picking from each Chapter, it's a different concept/emotion, but of course there is an arc of growth, different levels of maturity, different pain you experience through friendships/relationships that come/go for the first time and how you deal with all that when you're just living life (school/family/work). This is what their songs address behind their wonderful choreography, their body rolls and hair flips because it is essentially their life/MOA's lives. And this is just their songs! So a fun thing is the 0x1 = Lovesong, Lo$er = Lo💙er , and Good Boy Gone Bad all go together in their own story. Their JP mv for GBGB has flash backs to the two other songs and a deeper showing of the overall story. Also Frost in general is super important to their storyline, both the actual mv and the song, so the lyrics might not make sense without a sense of understanding of what is going on. txt has a really strong discography, one of the best of the last few years, since their debut to this very day. their titles are awesome, and their b-sides are just as good. and I'm a 35+ year old multistan, who have listened (and obviously still listens) to a loooot of music, including all 4 generations of kpop.

Lyrically Magic is about finding that someone special to you (and it feeling like *magic*). Visually it's like the robots are in charge and TXT hack the system with an absolute bop and make the robots feel things, have a little dance, and their heads explode the same way heads explode in the movie Kingsmen. Basically the robots represent people who are sort of detached and cold who are warming up and feeling again. But it does in fact look totally bizarre when seen in context with their other stuff. I just take it as a special nod to sci-fi for their first English track, which makes it stand out from their magic/fantasy/baby criminal storyline, in the same way it stands out as an English track among all the other Korean or Japanese tracks. Their storyline is magic, friendship, being there for eachother, struggling, growing up etc. and their songs are a bit of everything, which I love.
One thing I really love about TXT is their dancing. It's always on point and the choreography is so unique. I could watch their dance practices and live performances for forever. "Angel or Devil" is also a really good MV.

In Can't You See Me there a pretty cute fact,Beomgyu Hates tomatoes but he being a amazing Hyung filmed the scenes Together with Kai where kai is laying in the tomatoes(The Tomatoes was rotten if i'm not mistaken). The Poor baby smelled like Tomatoes for weeks
there's one shot where he laying on the bunch of tomatoes alone, it's supposed to be kai's shot but kai can not do it and then beomgyu offered to be on that shot while we all know that he hates tomatoes so much but he still do it for kai. there's some clip where kai said he feels so grateful for beomgyu because of that😭

Magic is where they got "abducted" by robot humans without feelings for a crime they committed but in reality, they got caught on purpose and hijacked them and they saved them with music, gave them the burst of emotions hahaha but yes it's just a little fun music video also dedicated to global fans, hence the english lyrics. Lover with a dollar sign kinda means even if you're a lover, if you do these things for money it still kinda makes you a loser in life? Or something like money controls your life no matter how passionate you are for things you love. Their style is a vast ocean lol They take pride in doing different genres and are hoping that one day maybe people can describe them as a genre of their own, being their own descriptors. They are passionate about having this versatility. If you'd ask me what song would be the best to describe their feeling as a "group" and their lore, my answer would be Runaway. But their music style is something you cant see in just one song. Ykwim? The Chaos chapter has a distinct rock sound but it's the end of the era and they'll be having a comeback in January with The Name Chapter and I honestly don't know what genre we'll get next. Also tiny bit to help pronounce Yeonjun's name, it's like "yawn" and "june". I laughed at the hoping Frost will be a wholesome christmas song. Would really love an album listen because yes, their bsides go hard. Some are even title track material.

you should definetly react to their album bsides, their title tracks are good but their bsides are top tier (you could see it on frost), their albums are the actual reason I became moa, my fav is freeze, minisode 1 blue hour and tdc magic. I really recommend it

Hahaha I die a little every time you say Yeonjun hahha. It's pronounced like - yawn - joon. TXT has been the greatest thing in the Kpop industry recently. They made me want to buy an album after a looongg time. Their b-sides are THAT good. All of their albums are gorgeous! The boys are just wayyy too charismatic and talented. I just want Yeonjun to give me one chance. ONE CHANCE!
They have some of the best and most diverse B-sides in Kpop. Sometimes my faves in the album are even the B-sides over the tts...but one thing's for sure: all their songs are bops!

For pronouncing Yeonjun, here’s a little guide: It’s two syllables- Yeon and jun You’re pronouncing jun amazing, but for Yeon here’s my tip: The “eo” in Yeon is pronounced similar to “uh”. In addition, there’s an “n” at the end of the first syllable. So maybe try imagining it being spelled Yuhn-jun and it might be similar. This isn’t an exact pronounciation, but I think it’ll get you closer. I always love your reactions!!!!! 💕

If you notice, they are all in some sort of abusive situations. Huening being mistreated at his job, Beomgyu being abused by his father, etc. they get sick of these and decide to run away. Yeonjun drives the car off the cliff. You can imagine what happened after that :( fans think Yeonjun is the only one who survived. I love Taehyun's grit and distortion - from earlier stuff I thought he was headed in a very sweet direction vocally and he decided to lean into rock stylings instead. The first time I heard him with the distortion I was so surprised. Their style definitely evolved as they grew up 😁 I mostly enjoy their newer stuff stylistically but also they've taken on more of the writing now and I like that. So far your song preferences are matching mine. 😂 Hueningkai offstage is an adorable loose-limbed puppy who is completely unashamed of his love for cartoons and his huge number of plushies. And then when he's performing he's this charismatic sexy beast. Yeonjun does edgy & aggressive looks well - he really nails the physicality. Offstage he's a marshmallow. I find these guys fascinating. 🤣
Let's see if I can't answer a few questions! Thank you so much for the TXT reaction, by the way. 3:48 - this was almost _certainly_ a spoiler, yes. TXT also spoiled some of "Blue Hour" at the end of this video. Even though "L=L" didn't come out until later, we know TXT's team has the vague strokes of their music's emotional journey mapped out years in advance. 4:12 - this is Taehyun, the redhead who looks very Tired on screen at the beginning of the line. 5:09 - you didn't ask about this, but I figured I'd throw it out anyway--originally, it was supposed to be Kai making the snow angel in the tomatoes (since he's always associated with angel imagery in their MVs), but Hyuka couldn't handle the smell and was physically sick, so Beomgyu offered to do it instead. general - CYSM is usually interpreted (read: this is the commonly accepted meaning but art is art and that means whatever you get from it is equally valid) to be about how growing up often places strain on friendships that at one time felt unbreakable. It's about the lines, "Friends don't understand me anymore," and the feeling that you're growing in a way that the people you used to resonate with without trying suddenly can't "keep up." In the MV, you'll notice that the boys start out having a perfectly innocent and sweet playdate, but that problems like Taehyun's apathy or Soobin suppressing his frustration or Beomgyu wanting to play more roughly eventually escalate into a situation they can't control, and the house ultimately burns down. "Magic" is just feel good. The MV has a plot (about TXT being the revolutionaries and trying to bring emotions back to a robotic humanity), but it's not part of their storyline. Tbh just going with the vibes is very fair. I love that we're at a point culturally that being a streamer is considered a normal job. Anyway, "L=L" from an MV standpoint is a prequel to "LOVESONG." But lyrically, I think you got pretty close to it. "Lover with a $ is a loser" is really open to interpretation, but personally I think it might be referring to this idea of intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation. For example, if you're intrinsically motivated to do something (because you love it), but you suddenly gain an extrinsic motivation (like money or other material, external rewards), you'll often lose the passion you had for it in the first place. 23:33 - yep, that was Taehyun and then Beomgyu. I highly recommend listening to them live sometime. I'm not so naive as to say there are no effects on their voices in the studio mixes of their songs because, of course there are. But they still pull off the vocals _really_ well live. "Frost" does have an MV, but it's really, _really_ story-heavy in terms of their band's fantasy lore, so it honestly doesn't make any sense with the song unless you understand what's happening in the lore. That's why people probably recommended the performance video, even though it doesn't have lyrics. That's why they _released_ the performance video in the first place, IMO. They do have some proper Halloween special clips, if you search for them.
As a casual listener of txt and from everything I’ve seen… taehyun feels really underrated imo and I duno I love his voice .. but they’re all super talented

Big Hit kept the boys fresh and age appropriate - if you compare their photos in 2019 to 2022, you would be shocked at the difference, even their fandom MOA (Moments of Alwaysness) laugh at it (even the AMAs used a 2019 photo for their seat assignment - it was so "Power Puff" and very funny!). TXT songs in each Chapter address what the members/their fandom would be experiencing - it was conceptual, as KPOP does this, but they connected with it emotionally. So, if you're cherry-picking from each Chapter, it's a different concept/emotion, but of course there is an arc of growth, different levels of maturity, different pain you experience through friendships/relationships that come/go for the first time and how you deal with all that when you're just living life (school/family/work). This is what their songs address behind their wonderful choreography, their body rolls and hair flips because it is essentially their life/MOA's lives. And this is just their songs! So a fun thing is the 0x1 = Lovesong, Lo$er = Lo💙er , and Good Boy Gone Bad all go together in their own story. Their JP mv for GBGB has flash backs to the two other songs and a deeper showing of the overall story.
Also Frost in general is super important to their storyline, both the actual mv and the song, so the lyrics might not make sense without a sense of understanding of what is going on. But the choreo video is a much watch! So I am so glad you were able to see it! :) thank you for all your reactions 💙

Lyrically Magic is about finding that someone special to you (and it feeling like *magic*). Visually it's like the robots are in charge and TXT hack the system with an absolute bop and make the robots feel things, have a little dance, and their heads explode the same way heads explode in the movie Kingsmen. Basically the robots represent people who are sort of detached and cold who are warming up and feeling again. But it does in fact look totally bizarre when seen in context with their other stuff. I just take it as a special nod to sci-fi for their first English track, which makes it stand out from their magic/fantasy/baby criminal storyline, in the same way it stands out as an English track among all the other Korean or Japanese tracks.
Their storyline is magic, friendship, being there for eachother, struggling, growing up etc. and their songs are a bit of everything, which I love.

In Can't You See Me there a pretty cute fact,Beomgyu Hates tomatoes but he being a amazing Hyung filmed the scenes Together with Kai where kai is laying in the tomatoes(The Tomatoes was rotten if i'm not mistaken). The Poor baby smelled like Tomatoes for weeks
there's one shot where he laying on the bunch of tomatoes alone, it's supposed to be kai's shot but kai can not do it and then beomgyu offered to be on that shot while we all know that he hates tomatoes so much but he still do it for kai. there's some clip where kai said he feels so grateful for beomgyu because of that😭

Magic is where they got "abducted" by robot humans without feelings for a crime they committed but in reality, they got caught on purpose and hijacked them and they saved them with music, gave them the burst of emotions hahaha but yes it's just a little fun music video also dedicated to global fans, hence the english lyrics.
Lover with a dollar sign kinda means even if you're a lover, if you do these things for money it still kinda makes you a loser in life? Or something like money controls your life no matter how passionate you are for things you love.
Their style is a vast ocean lol They take pride in doing different genres and are hoping that one day maybe people can describe them as a genre of their own, being their own descriptors. They are passionate about having this versatility. If you'd ask me what song would be the best to describe their feeling as a "group" and their lore, my answer would be Runaway. But their music style is something you cant see in just one song. Ykwim? The Chaos chapter has a distinct rock sound but it's the end of the era and they'll be having a comeback in January with The Name Chapter and I honestly don't know what genre we'll get next.
Also tiny bit to help pronounce Yeonjun's name, it's like "yawn" and "june". I laughed at the hoping Frost will be a wholesome christmas song. Would really love an album listen because yes, their bsides go hard. Some are even title track material.

It’s two syllables- Yeon and jun
You’re pronouncing jun amazing, but for Yeon here’s my tip:
The “eo” in Yeon is pronounced similar to “uh”. In addition, there’s an “n” at the end of the first syllable.
So maybe try imagining it being spelled Yuhn-jun and it might be similar. This isn’t an exact pronounciation, but I think it’ll get you closer.

There are multiple theories behind this mv, most popular one being these incidents taking place right before 0X1=LOVESONG. If you notice, they are all in some sort of abusive situations. Huening being mistreated at his job, Beomgyu being abused by his father, etc. they get sick of these and decide to run away. Yeonjun drives the car off the cliff. You can imagine what happened after that :( fans think Yeonjun is the only one who survived. He wakes up all alone in LOVESONG, and everything happening in that mv is his imagination.

I love Taehyun's grit and distortion - from earlier stuff I thought he was headed in a very sweet direction vocally and he decided to lean into rock stylings instead. The first time I heard him with the distortion I was so surprised.
Their style definitely evolved as they grew up 😁 I mostly enjoy their newer stuff stylistically but also they've taken on more of the writing now and I like that.

Hueningkai offstage is an adorable loose-limbed puppy who is completely unashamed of his love for cartoons and his huge number of plushies. And then when he's performing he's this charismatic sexy beast.

3:48 - this was almost _certainly_ a spoiler, yes. TXT also spoiled some of "Blue Hour" at the end of this video. Even though "L=L" didn't come out until later, we know TXT's team has the vague strokes of their music's emotional journey mapped out years in advance.
4:12 - this is Taehyun, the redhead who looks very Tired on screen at the beginning of the line.
5:09 - you didn't ask about this, but I figured I'd throw it out anyway--originally, it was supposed to be Kai making the snow angel in the tomatoes (since he's always associated with angel imagery in their MVs), but Hyuka couldn't handle the smell and was physically sick, so Beomgyu offered to do it instead.
general - CYSM is usually interpreted (read: this is the commonly accepted meaning but art is art and that means whatever you get from it is equally valid) to be about how growing up often places strain on friendships that at one time felt unbreakable. It's about the lines, "Friends don't understand me anymore," and the feeling that you're growing in a way that the people you used to resonate with without trying suddenly can't "keep up." In the MV, you'll notice that the boys start out having a perfectly innocent and sweet playdate, but that problems like Taehyun's apathy or Soobin suppressing his frustration or Beomgyu wanting to play more roughly eventually escalate into a situation they can't control, and the house ultimately burns down.
"Magic" is just feel good. The MV has a plot (about TXT being the revolutionaries and trying to bring emotions back to a robotic humanity), but it's not part of their storyline. Tbh just going with the vibes is very fair.
I love that we're at a point culturally that being a streamer is considered a normal job. Anyway, "L=L" from an MV standpoint is a prequel to "LOVESONG." But lyrically, I think you got pretty close to it. "Lover with a $ is a loser" is really open to interpretation, but personally I think it might be referring to this idea of intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation. For example, if you're intrinsically motivated to do something (because you love it), but you suddenly gain an extrinsic motivation (like money or other material, external rewards), you'll often lose the passion you had for it in the first place.
23:33 - yep, that was Taehyun and then Beomgyu.
I highly recommend listening to them live sometime. I'm not so naive as to say there are no effects on their voices in the studio mixes of their songs because, of course there are. But they still pull off the vocals _really_ well live.
"Frost" does have an MV, but it's really, _really_ story-heavy in terms of their band's fantasy lore, so it honestly doesn't make any sense with the song unless you understand what's happening in the lore. That's why people probably recommended the performance video, even though it doesn't have lyrics. That's why they _released_ the performance video in the first place, IMO.
They do have some proper Halloween special clips, if you search for them.
As a casual listener of txt and from everything I’ve seen… taehyun feels really underrated imo and I duno I love his voice .. but they’re all super talented
