Thanks for the crash course in how to lose money reselling. Buy things you do not feel like processing and then sell them at a major loss. It is the advice I subscribe for!

Let the resellers have it. I don’t understand whatnot or Dibdit or I’d do cuz I’m shy yet Kevin told me I wouldn’t have to show my face. I just have too many medical probs going on
The increased fees are not about increased market share, it’s the opposite, about cashing in on current custom base. Most of their decisions are either trying to grow base or make money, and they tend to be opposite levers. Like getting rid of all fees helps attract customers and sellers
At 2:09 they look like Anthropology drawer pulls! They probably sold fast because a set of 7 recently sold for 40 dollars. And depending on vintage or not way more.
I have to say, when you go around your garage there is a box on top shelf that have shoe’d feet next to it then a plastic storage bin with drawers. Looks like someone is laying there and their feet are sticking out….lol
You know what's insanity? Spending a lot of time and money resourcing inventory that you invested even more time by listing them on eBay, only to spend even more time giving everything away either at a garage sale or on Whatnot for 25% of market value - just so you can feel refreshed and do it again 6 months later.
Why not do a garage sale a couple of weekends first then do what’s left on your auction sights? Higher valuable items save for the auctions. I like the idea of feeling refreshed. Like watching your stuff.
I like pulling things that make me think of people in my life. If they don't sell then my person can get a gift. Sell everything, buy a smaller house and do it again.

I honestly think you're better off leaving the stuff you don't care to list for other pickers to get that could be more passionate about it. with your current method you're basically buying stuff and selling it to other pickers at a higher price (on the auctioning platforms) just for you to break even. so really they're paying more for something kinda unnecessarily. just my thoughts on it!
Dave...continue selling on Poshmark... Enough people complained about the new fee idea on both ends that Poshmark is reversing the policy AND offering refunds... eBay is going to fall on its face with this new policy that Posh just rejected...

Why would you want to sell off your listed inventory through dibdit or whatnot? You have already spent the time listing them on eBay. You may as well extract as much value as you can out of them. If the items you know have value are not selling well, then work on improving your photos and descriptions. Go back into the listings and make improvements. Fill out more items specifics. I looked at your listings and they are often just single word or single line descriptions. Titles are very vague. Photos are poorly cropped and lacking any close-ups. Taking photos from 3 feet away and not cropping them doesn’t give buyers an idea of the condition. Your descriptions often say see photos for condition. If you need me to I can provide examples of listings that need to be improved.
Dave, you don't want to get rid of your inventory, unless you're selling hot items that sell fast, having a bigger inventory means more sales, ebay gives you the numbers, if you have a 2% sales conversion, are you gonna sell more items if you have 1000 items in your store or 100?

It would be a lot easier if you just said it now/saved yourself the emotional baggage of a year or so getting there, and just announce “I’m leaving reselling guys, it’s just too much work. I’m going to concentrate on my main interests: amusement park attendance and content creation”. Just end the charade now, and just go there straight away? Or, perhaps you’re worried that if you told everyone now your true intent, you’d lose your “built in audience” of resellers? I don’t think so..I think they’d all keep watching, even if you did paint by numbers with the kids! 🤡

I received a notice that poshmark is resending the new fee structure and returning to how it once was.
