Pretty awesome that you've been so successful with this tank that things overgrowing is now the problem. Congrats on the tank, keep us posted what changes you end up making.
Gorgeous tank Deven! I love the look. I set up a RSR 650 Peninsula tank 6 1/2 years ago and I really enjoy it. I like big colonies. My WD got 18” across before I trimmed it. You’ve been a great inspiration! Thanks!!!
I am a new subscriber setting up my first lagoon peninsula tank, your tank is truly amazing! Can I ask how your power heads are positioned? I want to position mine on the same side as the returns.
Welcome to the channel!! Thank you! I have mp60s about 2/3 the way up on either side of the overflow. I eventually added an AI orbit gyre unde weir as well for a bit more flow over the top
Hey man. I’m sure you answered this question a million times, but what are you using for lighting and how many lights? Would you change what you are using? Waiting on my 7225 to get delivered and just trying to plan ahead.
@ Glad to hear that. They’re beautiful and one of my favorite wrasses. BTW, I agree with you that a major pruning is warranted. You’ll have more real estate again which is a good thing. Think of it as a major storm. 😉
@@ReefDudes Same observation here! After getting( twice) pretty serious respiratory symptoms while trying to get them out of the rocks, I have just tossed out the rocks themselves. Please be careful with those :)
I have a questions , I just a waterbed three months ago , how would I attach a uv filter to the manifold , what tubing do I use , if I were to do it that way ?
I've never seen in person a tank of this calibre. It amazes me how some of you are really good and successful in this hobby. Awesome looking reef.
Thank you!!
Deven, I can’t believe how the tank has evolved over the past 4yrs. The corals has just exploded with growth. Keep up the good work.
Love it !! I’m 1yr in and sometimes wonder if I’ll live long enough to see colonies lol. This gives me a nice timeline idea
Just goes to show these animals are bullet proof if you leave them alone. Good progress Deven.

Thanks Jason!
Incredible!❤
Man Dev, your tank looks better every update. Definitely the hard work has translated. Live the green stag. And the tort
Thank you. Much appreciated! Those 2 are awesome staples!
That's crazy growth! Definitely needs some trimming for maintenance sake but it looks awesome
Hehe thank you! The prob is I need to do something with my babies after I do trim!
Looks great man, definitely time for some landscaping! Nothing like growing a stick into a colony. Good job.
Thank you! It is satisfying seeing big colonies
What an incredible reef tank 😍❤💯🔥
🥰thank you!

Heck yea! That sounds awesome!
All kinds of cool stuff 😊 looks very successful
Thanks! Feels pretty good overall
Are you still using the High Intensity Lens kit for Radions? How are you liking it? Amazing tank.

Fantastic! I’ll try the same setup. Many thanks!

I Have a red sea 650P. And have been struggling with flow. But i just have 2 gyres. This gives me some ideas. Thanks
Happy to inspire!
Hi Devin. Did you lose your Red Headed wrasse, H. rubricephalus?
Nope. He’s still in there. Some times he’s more illusive

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Any tips for keeping gonis? what do you feed them?
I Jsut broadcast feed the tank mysis daily. No real target feeding
Those are not minty green zoas (04:53), that is really nasty (toxic wise) palythoa colony. Trust me, I have had the same :D
Maybe they are. The are invasive either way

I Td mine off the return plumbing
@@ReefDudes I saw your video on this , but do you know how to attach tubing to a waterbox manifold ?
Grow them even bigger. Let's see 2 foot wide corals. Start selling frags Devon.
Haha I prob should! The prob is the tank is only 25” wide lol
@@ReefDudes Cut from the front and back and let it grow sideways. Don't start over.
