Wow! So many CNC machines, fixtures, measuring, milling, turning and boring tools HAAS company has. You can find products for every taste and budget. Awesome!!!
Where are the refrigerators and washing machines? 😂. There is something to be said about one stop shopping, however sometimes I feel it’s best to concentrate on what you do best. Just my opinion. Have owned several Haas machines. One word of advice ….never buy the first year of a new product. It’s not a matter of if it will be a problem but when . Great machines for the money however I’ve found service to be an issue though. With adding all of these products and knowing the workforce ( or should I say lack of) I’d be a bit leary. Some great new products though. Why no one has treated coolant this way before this is puzzling to me. Great idea! I love the carbon fiber and larger control. I do wish they would have used a different color pallet though. Too much like what you already have. All in all I would recommend them. I love the new smaller 5 axis.
This is just logistics which is one of the things Haas does best. These new shop support machines and the tooling lines are all rebranded, as far as I can tell, not manufactured by Haas. I do wish they were more transparent with that. The vises literally say "Haas by Kurt" on them. What I don't know yet and hope to find out is if Haas will support this equipment in terms of service and warranty. That would change the picture quite a bit. Getting a tech out to work on an Enco manual mill would be nearly impossible, but getting a Haas tech out (at least from my local HFO) to work on an Enco with a Haas sticker on it is no big deal.
The convenience package on the mini mill is $1000 extra when it should be included as standard. Having to pay extra for things like this when it is standard on other machines makes us feel like we are being nickel and dimed. The carbon fiber does indeed look cheap. SS way covers should be the only option on all machines. Finally, it's ok to rehearse the recording sequence with the camera person before recording.
How about a Bridgeport style knee mill with 25" travel in the Y and 47" travel in the X. 14" table with 4 or 5 slots. And make sure when retrofitted with a Prototrak control it still travels 25 and 47 inches. 30 inch z would be best. Sell it with optional tooling, such as angle plates and vee blocks custom keyed (fitted) to the table and slots. Drill fastening holes through the vee blocks so you need not clamp the vee block, saving space. Your knee mill needs to offer what others do not.
Nice machinery, for small to medium size parts that do not require heavy cutting, the Haas will work out just fine . At my shop most the heavy duty parts we machine run on the Japanese machines . The aluminum and smaller parts we run on the Haas . Hass controls are so simple compared to like a Hurco or Hitachi seike
Up until mid 2018 Stainless steel way covers WERE standard on VF's, and then you guys went to galvanized steel which reacted horribly with most machine coolants. Stainless covers became a $4000+ up charge.
Question about the RPL loading station, does it have a zero point dock that locks the pallets in or do they just sit on a plate with a hole for the pull stud?
Not a fan of the carbon fiber thing, Also didnt like when they went to Aluminum. The stainless is the nicest they did about 14 years ago. Just seems cheap to me. Maybe its just me.
The carbon fibre…… just don’t please it looks very cheap. Like a teenage boy putting “upgrades” on a 1999 civic kinda cheap The ss looks refined. Cleans well and stands the rest of time.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua ישוע (Jesus) and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the YHVH יהוה (LORD) shall be saved.” Romans 10:8-13
I appreciate these long form videos showing everything as if you were at the show.
I wish more machine mfgs did this for their booths.
Thanks Scott for this video showing Haas updates during the Imts Show. Best regards from Spain, cheers Ricard
Wow Haas is now MSC and Harbor Freight all rolled into one!
Super. So many new thing that we need in work.

So much ❤🎉🎉🎉
Any plans on adding a 4th axis on the laser machine?
I love how you put your prices right on each machine, its gotten so very old to have to call and email people for a "quote".
stainless waycovers is a good idea .. if they are hard enough to prevent scratching .. and have a polished surface ..

Where can I find the powered tool holder taper cleaner?
Couldn’t find it on the website.

Really wish I saw that coolant cart 2 weeks ago. We just got something like that...😮
Bad Ass! 👍

darn bean Counters always get in the way of quality.
The Robots are coming🎉

Good to see them had bed flush on their mills. My 2011 Hyundai Wia has one lol.
I hope they are made in the USA, including all the parts that make the machines.
Auf gar keinen Fall 😂
Anyone know how long of a pull the saw has?

Desk to mill is way overpriced 10k, you can get a lot more with that kind of money

Wish I could afford one:(
This guy needs to switch to De-Caf. 😂
The Carbon Fiber controllers are faster

Haas Sucks !! Haas Automation My rear! Machines are engineered so bad you cannot get chips out! What a JOKE.
Haas is now the Harbor Freight of CNC machine tools.
