  • Swansea Station is located on the line between Carmarthen and Cardiff Central; the station is operated by Transport For Wales.
    The station sees a handful of train services a hour in each direction operated by both Great Western Railway and Transport For Wales;
    Great Western Railway services start/terminate here from London Paddington via Cardiff and Reading on a hourly basis. With one service heading to Carmarthen from here in the evening. All GWR services here are operated using Class 800-803 Diesel Electric Multiple Units.
    Transport For Wales long distance services from here head either towards West Wales (inc Milford Haven, Fishgaurd or Pembroke) or towards Cardiff Central and beyond to destinations including Manchester, Crewe and Shrewsbury. Local TFW services also start/terminate here throughout the day and usually head either terminate at Carmarthen or Cardiff.
    Transport For Wales services on the line here are operated mainly using Class 175 DMU's although the odd Class 150/153 and Class 158 isn't a uncommon site here either

    Why at the old Class 43s and the old liveried 175s in the second half when you didn't even say anything about that in your description?? That's a bit stupid.
