I love that the Democrats have finally taken on the Mel Brooks approach to dealing with an enemy/oppressor: fight back with humor; expose him for the pathetic clown he is. Being laughed at is like Kryptonite to a narcissist who thinks he’s a tough guy, takes the wind out of his sails, diminishes his power and ability to rule(or win an election 🙏🏻) by using fear and hate.
The DJ was a good call. Lil Jon was great. The contrast with the RNC was priceless.

This convention has a house band, DJ, crazy exciting roll call, Kamala took time out for a rally in Wisconsin and cherry on top the Obama's!!! We are not going back!

Give you an idea, the United Center (where the DNC is) max capacity is 30,000 people per google. Kamala and Tim had a rally in Milwaukee where the Republicans had the RNC, Fiserv Forum. Again, per google, max capacity for concerts is 18,000 people and there was a point while Douglas Emhoff was speaking, they cut briefly to the rally in Milwaukee, and it looked absolutely packed, I mean SRO crowds, from what I could tell.
Not only was it packed, they were energized and engaged.
Filled both places to capacity. And to think the DNC is only halfway through. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. (Oh, and had no idea Dolt45 "tried" to have a rally at same time Monday. Stupid is as Stupid does)

I danced, sang, and cheered my way through night two. I even went back and watched the ceremonial roll call a second time so I could experience it all over again. Gavin Newsom did my home state, the state that has been home to my family for four generations, PROUD tonight. I listened to every speech, paid attention to every moment, and felt the joy and optimism that this country has so sorely been missing. Let’s keep this energy up for the next 11 weeks people! We can do this!

It was positively ELECTRIC!⚡️ I just tuned in to see what was going on and became enthralled with, of all things, the state roll call - each state had its own music. I cheered for Lil’ Jon and Georgia and became overwhelmed with emotion and cried when the DJ played Prince for Minnesota and Tupac for California. 💙💜💙

I turned on Roll Call just to have playing in the background until the speeches start, but after a few states were called, I was like "They sound like they're having fun, let me see what they're doing". I watched the rest of it, hyped the entire time.

I was stunned to see the entire roll call. Nothing like that had ever been done. It was a like a big hiphop summer dance party. RNC organisers must be crying.
So interesting seeing all the different peoples in each American State. Their history, traditions, cultures, accents, music, and the state of origin of many musicial artists. Never have I seen nor learn about America & Americans like that, all in just one day - AMAZING. I found it educative, extremely interesting and colourful.
Can't believe I sat through 1hr15 minutes, and be greatly entertained watching ALL 50 States Delegates Roll Calls like it's the Grammys or something.... 🤔 🤷🏾♂️

Some people are just easy to manipulate. And a lot of those people were raised to believe in some type of racism, Christian nationalism, and baked in republican or nothing families. Which was my family growing up, but I learned to look beyond the hardened support for something I didn’t even understand. I learned to research and realize when something was truly propaganda.
