First trip to Co Co View was in 1984; primitive accommodations at best. I recall the walls between the rooms were unsecured plywood, often falling down. They’ve come a long way since. Heading back next April.
We found Cocoview in 1998. We are making our 18th trip this February and I can’t wait. It’s the BEST. The staff is incredible. The diving is great and it’s always fun ! I’ve given up on other dive spots. CCV or nothing !
Finally a resort video that shows the resort, and not a 2 second blip of resort, and then 15 minutes of dive footage. Great video. Adding this to the “list”.
Glad you enjoyed it! I do also have lots of underwater footage from CoCoView on other videos on my channel. But in this video, I wanted to concentrate on the resort itself, especially as a guide for first-timers wondering what to expect.
Good point. When I had said "northeast", I had meant it from the vantage point of the channel out front. But that's not what I actually said. Oops! Thank you for the correction.
This video is AWESOME! Thank you! - Also because the resort is accessible by boat only, is there a way of getting to a store to stock the the fridge with beer, etc?
I'm very glad you enjoyed it! For shopping trips, you have a couple options. You can ask the resort to arrange a private taxi for you to go to the store. The taxi can either pick you up from the airport before going to the resort. Or the resort can also arrange to have a taxi pick you up at the landing and the resort will ferry you across to/from the landing. I believe you can also provide to the resort in advance a list of the items you would like to have purchased for you and I believe they can arrange that. I know that is an option if you stay in the beach houses; I am not sure if that option is also available for guests staying in the normal rooms. That said, I highly recommend making use of the bar. :) The prices are quite reasonable, especially during happy hour. There are complimentary snacks available at the bar during happy hour as well. And most importantly, Willie is one of the friendliest bartenders you will ever meet! If there is something specific you would like to have at the bar, you can request it in advance and the resort will do its best to make it available.
Yes, as a matter of fact, CoCo View Resort is one of the best places you can visit in the entire Caribbean for snorkeling! The "Front Yard" has many acres of sea grass in front of the resort and is only a few feet deep. The amount of life living in the seagrass is absolutely mind-blowing! You can also go farther out and snorkel over the Prince Albert wreck or along CoCo View Wall or Newman's Wall. However, if you do that, I do recommend carrying a float with you for safety. In addition, you can go out on the dive boats and drop in and snorkel the same sites as the divers. Many of these are shallow enough to make for fantastic snorkeling!

Best Dive Resort Ever. I went there in August 2022, and I had such an amazing experience with the staff. Everyone was so nice and friendly.
I'm soooo excited... going in 3 weeks
Can’t wait. I go every year at the end of October love it there staff and crew are amazing.
Excellent video!
Thank you!
Proposed to my current wife on a dive there in 2016, video of it on my channel, great place to go diving.
Thanks for great vid.
Going for the 1st time 6/24
Awesome video. On minor error I caught at 6:11. CoCoView Wall is looking South East from this Vantage Point.

Great video! Nice work.
Great video! Answered all of my questions before my 1st trip there next year.
Thank you! I’m glad it was helpful!
Fantastic. Now I want to go there!
Highly recommended! The style of diving and the underwater topography is different than in West End. Both should definitely be experienced!
Nicely done video!
Thank you very much! ❤️

Is there a snorkeler heaven in Roatan?
