☞ 1 year later, Jitae and Sooa have a great life together as they raise their child with Mijeong. Jian enjoys studying and keeping things busy in Finland while Jisu plans to open her own bakery. Jian visits her family in Korea and runs into Dogyeong. Dogyeong tells Jian, who keeps trying to avoid him, about his last conversation with Taesu when he was alive.

This drama was beautiful.Lessons learned:
1-Family is the most important thing in life.
2-Always appreciate and try to understand your parents choices for you because they only think about what's best for you .(Jian parents).
3- In life you will meet people like the grandpa .People who think they can steal your souls and dignity just because they got money.Make sure to never bow down to them because you may not get the chance to raise your head up again.
4- Never ever let go of your career and dreams for your lover and make sure to love someone who can accept your life choices and respects what you doing.(Jian and her lover).
5- Never live a life you are not oky with and don't be afraid to say what's on your mind(Jisu).
6-Believe in yourself and do what you think you deserve(Jiho).
7-Don't let poverty holds you back from the one you love and remember that it's temporary.(Jita and his wife).
8-Be with friends that know who you truly are .A friend that will die, cry and fight for you.(Heyok and JIAN).
10-Respect and dignity are more important than love.
PS:The last two episodes made me cry really hard.I never cry that much in kdramaa but this one got me because the seo tesu father was the kind of dad I wish I had .

Best ending i can think of, its realistic. Her father passed away peacefully knowing he’s done enough for his family. Jian and do kyung start over, they didnt meet by coincidence but because do kyung make an effort to be with her. ❤️ cant stop rewatching the last episode.

I just learned from Jiho and Seohyun that its important to know what is love and what is affection before going into relationship. They didnt date each other and thats the lesson for many of us. Because I think this is the common mistake that many of us do and end up in relationship with the wrong person and have breakup later on

The show gives me a nostalgic feeling and inspires me to know myself and be with friends who truly understand me,a friend who will die, cry, and fight for you, just like Hyeok and Jian. I'm rewatching it again because I can't wait for the next episode of 'Welcome to Samdalri,' and our queen, SHIN HYE SUN, totally slayed it. Why I keep watching this drama over and over again. I really can't help myself. I think I got hooked up with Shin Hye-sun or is it because she can act really really well. Anyways, I think I have to watch the whole episode again before the class this year starts.

The storyline was quite unique. To me considering the pain both families had experienced I think the ending was perfect 4 this k drama. Loved the cast also.
This drama shows how the rich play with money and the struggles of those who needs money. It also tells us of a family that cares nd love each other. Thank you KBS WORLD i think i've watched more than 6 of ur exciting kdramas since covid pandemic.
Agreed...During the second half I actually started feeling sorry for Dokyung's family. His mom became a scheming bitch and control freak because her own dad is a scheming bastard and a control freak. Yes they have money but they have neither the love nor the freedom that Jian's family does.

The last two episodes made me cry so much. I remember my appa. I remember how my appa fights for his life. I remember how he suffered and I coudnt do anything to ease his pain. The scenes made me remember everything. And I miss my appa so much. Ilove him so much.

The only time I would comment but I would say that I've watched this countless times already. One of her(Shin Hae-sun's) biggest fans here!!! Can't get enough of this drama. I may be 4-5 years late, but I'm desperately asking for season 2🥺 even though I know it's impossible.
I really want My Golden Life Season 2. It really deserve to have a season 2....A very good drama and actors indeed!.
I didn't like it at the beginning episodes but I got drawn to this as the episodes went by and fell in love with it, especially scenes between Dogyeong and Jian... I am pretty heartless when it comes to dramas but this one really pulled my heart strings. Kudos to all the cast and the well-written script!

Ths drama is deep in soo many levels. It speaks in so many ways the 2 dads the 2 moms. It showed the real struggle within both rich n poor families. Love n true meaning of family. For me the best actor was Taeso Seo that man had me laughing n crying with him. All the characters were on point 🎉

At the beginning of this drama, I did think that this is gonna be such a nice drama , it has so many positive things to gain our lives , to be honest not like other dramas ( according to I've watched) in briefly it tells us that money doesn't buy love family friends caring but we need money to live but if you have family love and friends it doesn't hard to make money, also be honest with your feelings , with what you're gonna do or what your gonna say, one lie can destroy so may lives also don't see a person with the same eye people may change , may they will be good ones or still the bad ones , be positive...if someone reading this , someone from an ordinary family watch this , ( this my opinion )

This drama broke my image about long dramas. Its near to impossible to maintain the same level of energy until the last episode. But the creators and whole team of this drama exceeded my expectations. It was far better than most of the current short dramas of 16 episodes.
