- This is a compilation video of cooks I have done with my @OklahomaJoesSmokers Highland offset smoker. I have learned a lot from using this smoker for the past 8 years, and I have smoked delicious barbecue along the way. 4-3-24

What the hell kinda critter makin’ that sound at 8:22?
I love how your videos are chill and simple. Just enjoy the cook. Other channels are really helpful, but kinda stress out over the details. Thanks Moe.
What you are hearing are called cicadas. They are in the trees. They are bugs. I'm happy you enjoy my videos. I take it easy while I'm cooking and enjoy doing just that. I sit back with my favorite beverage and listen to music. It's always a chill time when I cook.
Hey Moe I am not sure if you watch Big Lew BBQ channel but he has a blackjack kettle (as i do also) and he bought the oklahoma joes charcoal manager from their website and he stated it solves the issues with the blackjack kettle just thought you might check out his videos on that if you didnt know already!
I have been thinking a lot about getting this Oklahoma Joe offset but now Oklahoma Joe's Tahoma Gravity Feed 900-Sq in Black Vertical Charcoal Smoker.... have you tried this yet?
The Tahoma I have not tried. It does look interesting. I like the concept. What are you looking for in a smoker?
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ a bigger cooking surface and a more controled even long cook temp. The bronco has been a challenge for 12 hr cooks
@thegbigsurf1 I wouldn't mind owning one. But I'm not sure when that will be. Why has it been challenging for longer cooks in the Bronco?
@@MoesBlackGoldBBQ the long cooks at 275 seems to fuctuate a bit to much for me, having to work the intake cover open/close to keep the temps consistant, but I LOVE my Bronco!
@@thegbigsurf1here’s a tip I learned with my Wrangler- take out any grates or fire baskets and then try. I get bigger coalbeds which equates to more consistent temps and easier fire management. You can thank me later
