Everyone seems to love this version but to me it seems like it misses the point. It’s a song about tripping really hard and having a challenging time, but its always worth it anyways. Its like you skipped the difficult part of the trip (the whole loopy bit that then builds back up to the regular melody). Not to diss this at all, its much nicer to listen to overall. But the thematic arc of the song is removed and it ends up very flat.
