  • A patient with triple vessel coronary artery disease presents with Class III dyspnea on exertion ðŸ˜Ū‍ðŸ’Ļ, raising concerns of an anginal equivalent or underlying subclinical left ventricular systolic dysfunction. Although their LVEF (Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction) is normal, the presence of a reduced LV Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS) 📉 suggests that there may be early, subtle changes in heart function that are not yet reflected in traditional measures. This could explain the symptoms despite a preserved ejection fraction.
