- Campark T300 Unboxing and set up. Campark makes a pretty good trail camera and I have a new one to try out. In this video I go through the unboxing and the set up. This game camera can take a 30mp picture and up to 4k video. It also has a sound capture option.
I have a few campark cameras and I love them. The campark T80 i have had out at the farm 24/7 for two years now, never had a problem.
The T300 has built a built in solar panel and can actually run without batteries. The compact size should make for easy hiding and should not be easily seen by others.
I know this campark trail camera setup is a lengthy video, but I hope it helps someone.

I know this is a long video and most won't get a lot out of it. But there is a lot of people this might help to get their new camera up and running.
I own several campark cameras and the have been very reliable to me. CamPark new solar model is a game changer, battery expense has just gone down.

I have this camera and I can say that it's outstanding.
It ran for nine months uninterrupted, taking over 250 photos and as many videos, yet the solar charger was all that was necessary to keep it running in all that time.
Campark makes good cameras.

I have 3 cell cams and a bunch of standard cams.
The standard ones generally go bad after a year or so.
I am going to have to remember This one.

Not a bad looking camera, I will know more after I ran it for a while. But campark camerashave never failed me and I don't expect this one to.

Excellent vlog, been looking at this camera for a while after seeing great Campark reviews. I bought the same camera 2 days ago from Amazon under a different brand name here in the UK for £99 (approximately $134) all the controls are exactly the same. Easy to set up, even after I realised you have to use your phone close up to change settings and review videos & pictures. Best valentines present my wife says she’s had, now she can see her foxy friends in the back garden………….. brownie points for me ! I’d highly recommend this camera it’s our first and not the last 😊

I will be doing another update on it after I have had it at the farm for a while. I own several campark cameras and they all take excellent video and photos. So I don't foresee any issues with this one.

I have had this camera since Oct.2021 & used it daily. I live in Manitoba, Canada where we have very long harsh winters. To me this by far is the best trail cam I have ever used. The solar panel works so well & has never once failed me. I've had days with 300 videos taken & the camera still had charge left! Pictures are clear & sharp. I use a 128g. sd card so lots of room for videos & pictures.
There are a few cons in my opinion....it only takes micro sd cards which are difficult to use with fat fingers in frigid weather. Also....the solar panel does catch snow which prevents proper charging but still does work to some degree. The last thing didn't really bother me as I don't use it anyway, but I couldn't get the app to work with my phone.
Hi Jim, So far I am liking the camera also. It takes great video and you can't beat the solar battery. I also do not like the mini sd cards, so hard to get out of cameras, I am always afraid of dropping them. The sound capture does not seem to work as good on this camera as in some of CamParks other cameras, i am hoping as they keep upgrading their cameras ths improves.
As for the App, I don't nor never had used it, I just retrieve the card and change it with a new one, so I can't help you their.
Great job on the set up. We have dragged our feet on getting these but need them to monitor the farm. I’d much rather know if something happens and how to prevent it moving forward. This one looks great
I first got into the trail cameras to watch my property since I was not their all the time. It has turned into a hoppy now, I enjoy it.

Great video, thank you. How do you use Bluetooth to get the photos and videos onto your phone ??
I have never used the blue tooth option. but in your manual it should tell you which app to get. Just follow those directions. It only works if you are like 40-60 feet from the camera.
You've sure got a good group of trail cams. Do you have an opinion on a lower cost cam that works great? We've get a few critters after dark and I'd love to find out what is visiting the farm. Thanks Joey!

@@TheOldSwedesFarm My favorites are the campark cameras, you can see the links in the description for the T80, T85 and T86. I am not just saying that because of this review , I have had the T80 in the woods for nearly 2 years 24/7. they take excellent video and a good battery life. I only change the batteries in those cameras about every 8 months. great cameras in my opinion. I am expecting the T300 camera to perform as well as the other campark cameras I own and I don't foresee a problem with it.
Hi Joey, I appreciate the reviews. I have to get me one of the cams you suggest before summer. Tell me the one you like best at this point now that you have purchased several. I want something that has great pic and video, even at night. In addition, I need a solar capable unit.
My Favorite cameras that I own are the Campark Cameras. I have 4 of them that stay in the woods 24/7 and I have never had a problem with them. One has been out for nearly 2 years, still taking video. If you want one with soar give this T300 a try.
I'll be curious to see what you think of the solar power later on down the line.
I will do an update on it after a few months of use.
Great information. I am assuming after you set everything up in the “set-up” mode, you switch it to the on position for it to run. Also, the battery indicator button lets you know how much battery life is left for the AAA batteries. I bought this camera before watching your video, so thanks for helping with the set up. I needed a place to get started and you did just that. Thanks Joey!!

@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors I sure will. I JUST and I mean JUST now set it up. Let me get a few photos or videos first. I am a bird watcher, so I am using it to get close up video of the birds that come to my feeders. I thought I read somewhere that there is an app you can download and then you will be able to see the photos/videos right on your phone, provided of course you are in the range of the Bluetooth/WIFI as you mentioned early in the video. Do you know if there is an app?
@@joaniewebb5334 There is an app, but I do not know what it is called. You will need to look in your manual for the name of it.
I do not use the app, I set my cameras up on my farm and I do not live at the farm yet. So I just change the SD cards.
The app and Bluetooth set up should work good for you.

Quick question that I hope you can help me with. The website I have bought the T300 says it takes sd/sdhc u3 up to 128gb.
I've been looking to buy a 128gb card but none say SD or SDHC but rather SDXC, from what I have read this might not work with the T300 unless it's compatible and I can't find that information out in either the manual or their website.
Just wondering if you use a 128gb card and what the specs are.

I only use a 32gb card, so I cant help you with that. Maybe try calling their support.
That solar panel does look promising but does it have to be in direct sunlight to charge?
I would imagine it would need sun light, Especially to last over night.
I can't get the T300 to show up as a network on my Samgsung phone with the T300 App installed. It worked once but then no more. It doesn't show up as a network on phone.
I have never tried the app, I don't use it. You will need to contact campark support.

I love it! great video, the sound capture I wish was better, but the camera produces good video. I can see it saving me money as it requires the batteries less. A good camera.
Hey Joey. Hope you guys are great. Do you have an update on this Campark T300. I bought two about 6 weeks ago and have had absolutely nothing but problems with them. Even after formatting the card, getting different micro SD cards, and doing all the troubleshooting I can, they consistently do not allow me to download any vids. I’ve had them out 8 times, only two of the (16) trials gave me videos. Ready to send them back. I was hoping to do a trail cam video for my TH-cam channel but clearly not with these. Appreciate any feedback you’ve had from your use. Thanks.
What are you meaning download any videos? They won't let you download from the SD card to your computer? Putting out your cameras 8 times in 6 weeks might be a little excessive. Set them out for like a month at a time, constantly touching them and moving them that often leaves your scent behind and may be spooking the deer and keeping them away.
In a situation like this try putting some apples in front of the camera, this way you can see if the camera was not triggering or there was simply no deer walking by the camera.
Mine seems to be working pretty well, although the sound capture on mine is not up to par with their other cameras.

At which stage after inserting SD card does it not let you go any further?
Meaning when you insert the card can you see the files?

@@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors Thanks for pointing me there. He does a good job. After more trial and error, it appears that I’ve got it working. I went to micro SD cards that “were not” labeled Ultra, Special, Etc. I got basic, inexpensive micro SD cards and its working just fine. Like previously, I formatted it prior, but these cams seem to have a harder time with the “fancy” micro SD cards. I have had the same issue with Covert Cameras (I have two of those as well). To be honest, I don't know yet. I have had it out at the farm for about a month now. I was planning on retrieving the SD card tomorrow. But camPark makes good cameras, My favorite. So I know I won't be disappointed.
