TH-cam is so cool ! I always wanted to restore my suzuki b120 that my grand father gave me before he left this world... But I never had the courage to restore it because I never did any mecanics before (even if I do electronic and computer stuff..) and I guess I always had some fear to damage the bike while working on it. But with your series of video I now know where to start ! Thank you for that ! I suscribe and I will keep following your restoration :)
Thanks! Just jump in. It's only nuts and bolts and there are some repair manuals that can be had on ebay. If you can find a parts book, they're real helpful as the show the parts relation in an almost schematic way.. Thanks for the note and subscription.
I already bought the parts book and also the manual guide. But I was more afraid about which products and tools to use for cleaning without scratching it ! In this video I learn from you the way to clean the engine :) Btw even if i'm far from starting the engine would you keep using the auto oil filler or just make your oil gaz mixture yourself ?
I'm gonna use the oil injection system. I'll fill it, kick the engine over a few times without a spark plug in it and that should prime the oil injection pump. I will put a spot of oil on the bottom end rod bearing, the cylinder and the piston rings when I install them. I'm also going t add a small ratio of oil to the fuel on initial start up... just in case.
