I'm so glad @Sly-Jack got a shout. I've been watching every video of his since more than a year now, and I have certainly not found any other content creator that produces such quality educational content within the community. It's a shame he is not appreciated enough, and thus can only treat TH-cam as a hobby, uploading roughly once a month.

When I came across his videos long time ago I implemented some stuff that he suggested in his video into my own game and it has helped me out. The one I couldn’t get used too is the movement swap
People need to subscribe to Sly-Jack. He makes some of the most unique, informative, and underrated Fortnite videos. I constantly go back to his videos because they are almost my Fortnite bible for truly understanding the nuances of the mechanics of the game.
I'm glad Sypher discovered him and is giving his channel some exposure.

I've known about sly jack for years now and surprised he wasn't bigger. He helped me back in the day get my edits cleaner and have better cross hair placement for current edits and to set up for the next edit

As a man in his mid 50s trying to learn keyboard and mouse with Fortnite this is one of the hardest things Ive tried to learn. How on earth you all build and move so well in this game using a keyboard is beyond me. Just moving and trying to switch weapons has been hard on me. Just watching the video makes me fell like I need a master degree to be somewhat good at the game. Respect to all of you.
I have the same problem. for a while i would just use my mouse scroll wheel to switch between edtis/guns but found there were a lot of times that id scroll a little to far in the heat of a fight. so ive gone back to ZXCV for builds and 12345 for guns. its frustrating knowing that your losing becasue your just too slow. maybe trying to use a more defensive playstyle is what i need, something that can carry me when im just slower. food for thought.

This guys scary intelligent, and mind blowing how I bet a lot of pros do a lot of this just out of skill set and instinct without necessarily being able to explain it all. For me, I don’t have the skill set to implement most of this, but it’s good to know, especially the left hand build placement.

1 tip whenever you want to practice something, start practicing in game so that you can apply it to tour gamestyle , if you practice it mostly on creative , your more likely to either forget about it or will struggle alittle because of your natural gamestyle

If you actually do this, make a video on it. You can probably get a lot of views so do it.
That’s also the benefit of building on the right side when piece controling forwards. But if you piece control from the left side you’ll likely have to jump position depending on the aggressor. Majority of player base builds and piece controls on the left side because it “feels” easier.
