Markie and the contestant make it through the first 5 categories in good time, but get stuck on the last category. I love some of the creative clues Markie used - I would have added "Miami Vice" to the mix too 😂

Markie would know, she did two episodes of the A Team.
Plus she was a regular on "The Fall Guy."
I watched this as a young boy 👦 and it make’s me emotional 🥹 watching this in August 2023.
The way Debbie and Markie were victoriously hugging beneath *"The $100,000 Pyramid"* while its "$100,000" sign flashed brightly above them... #Pathos 🥹🥹🥹

Unfortunately violence in the USA 🇺🇸 is out of control post pandemic 😷 in 2023 than it was in the 80s. Very sad 😢

100k isn’t much money at all in September 2023 and rent is now running 🏃♀️ at least $2,000/month so it will last about 4 years. Not a big deal

I’m still amazed that she got ‘double o’ just from spoon…lot of different things it could have been…getting that one right away is why they won…left them a good amount of time…

I wonder if Markie misread the second category as A-bomb (atomic bomb) rather than "a bomb".
Two men competed in this $100K tournament, but Debbie won seven of the eight maingames this week, so a rare chance for two men as contestants on the same show in the CLark era did not happen. It happened during a $50K tourney in 1981 and a Davidson tourney in 1991.

When did they rerun on GameTV? Are they still on GameTV?
I'd love for the community to have access to a better quality rip of these episodes vs the SLP mono copy that my grandparents recorded 😅
@@JsClassicTV GameTV began rerunning this in September 2017 and this was one of the first Tournaments GameTV reran. Sam Mitchell’s pals actually sent him the entire packages of all the episodes GameTV reran so far of this, Split Second, TNG, as well as Talk About.
That came down to the wire.
But they eked it out at the end.

I don’t think so…Markie said ‘little mattress’ for parts of a crib…and ‘football players’ for helmet…words that go together for a description…wild hurricane or wild storm are words that wouldn’t always go together for a description…she might have gotten away with ‘bad storm….;’ But if she thought it, she figured don’t chance it…
Wild and violent are both adjectives and I don't think they can give adjectives for adjectives because they would be basically giving synonyms. Note that "action" was acceptable because action is a genre. And the adjective little mattress was acceptable because crib is a noun not an adjective. Now category-4 hurricanes or 100-mph storms could have been accepted because they're not really adjectives.

You mean not since 2018 regularly before the GSN logo change to the current one, however it popped in during the 2018 Thanksgiving marathon. You gang meant the $100,000 Pyramid that hasn't been seen on GSN in 10 years. Thank God for GameTV picking up this flavor of the series.
