Hey buddy I know this is off subject a bit but I have a question for you? I have a Calcutta conquest 100, is there any company’s that make a shallow spool for that reel and if so will it cast small lures ?

I reached out to Dmk. The reel can be used for salt as long as you rinse it off after usage. It comes with a 1 year warranty. Also the English app is coming out in September or October, but they have a interface in place for English now. Oh yeah I caught it on a deal for $220.00 until tomorrow 😊.. Amazingly gorgeous and unbelievably tiny reel, but for $300 I don't see how anyone would buy spend their money on this over a Shimano reel, and I'm so NOT a Shimano fanboy at all. I think in order for something like this to succeed in the Shimano in the DC space, it needs to offer considerable savings over a Shimano offering. Shimano operates under this incredible marketing hype that is the stuff of legend, and you'd be hard pressed to convince their fanboys that other brands offer reels that are just as good and/or better. They just won't hear it. LOL
If this were say $200 and came in BFS & Standard deep spool variants, THEN I'd say Shimano better watch out.
Until then this will likely be a niche thing that might stand the test of time through a very small following, or it might just disappear like so many others have before.
Me personally, I'd go with a proven Shimano DC Reel for the same or less money, but if Lew's came to their senses and lowered the price of their top tier models I'd much rather have those over anything. Those reels are insanely superb, but waaaay overpriced, just like Shimano & Daiwa reels.
WOW THAT IS A MICRO REEL! Can you even really fish with it. Reminds me of the first and last reel I bought from TEMU, never again will I make that mistake! .

Loongze B50/B51 (the small one) also equip with a 28mm spool, and they are also going to launch the BT/APP version on B50/B51 as well.
DMK Silver Feather probably using their 2nd gen DC brake system.
Loongze has the 3rd gen which will support gyroscope for more gesture control.

I actually figure that shimano will release a dc bfs reel before its over. Probably already working on one lol. Bfs is growing world wide in popularity so if figure shimano will be right in the mix with its top quality and technology soon.
perhaps, but Ive been doing BFS videos for 7 years and nothing from Shimano as far as a true BFS DC reel.
@@THEREELTEST yea but just because no ones seen it yet doesn't mean shimano isn't working on a DC bfs reel. I know there was talks of a 70 size dc reel already but it hasn't released either. Guess we'll see in the next year or so. I also heard shimano is working on a upgraded DC version as well. Kind of hints from a shimano pro who tests their reels and prototypes lol.
Im new to the BFS style. And hate to sound ignorant on this, but can a real like this go on a lightweight, hight end rod like a conquest and perform good?

Great video, I have been looking at this reel on Dankung but with the new loongze dc, valiant eagle pro, and possibly the new bearking round reel coming out I am trying to decide my next purchase lol. I look forward to the casting video, it may help me decide. I have bought both the dmk majestic and silver feather elite reels and both had the really thin line guide like this reel and I really like it.

@THEREELTEST - on the Neverending quest for the lightest reel ever, 3.49oz is so much lighter than what was just a year or two ago, around 5.4oz was the lightest! At what point does weight reduction with today's manufacturing cross the line with functionality. At some point, the reel can only get so light, before it can not function well, and becomes an expensive toy instead of a workhorse tool. Seems like the Aurora was the cutoff for a few buyers.
Can’t wait to see the test casting. I got into BFS Fishing because of you. I have a couple of reels that you have tested. Caught a giant buffalo while walleye tonight on one of them. I am super interested in this one.

@@THEREELTEST at least 10 minutes! I have caught some big walleye on standard gear, but I was convinced this was going to be a personal on 4lb line. Lol. I was a little disappointed because I was netting the fish but it was quite an accomplishment, considering I caught it below a dam in swift current

Can anyone tell me how to use the "spinning charger device" for this reel?
I'm trying to figure it out now. Do you open the reel, remove the spool, insert the spinning device in place of the spool, turn it on and let it spin up a charge??

unscrew the cap on the charger, remove the sideplate from the reel, put the extension inside the hole in the brake and press the charger button. If your brakes are turned on when you do this, the button will light up all sorts of colors. Or you can make a few casts and it will recharge itself

I just got a Shimano scorpion dc 21 and am really not impressed with build quality, using bushings for the worm and drive shaft, etc.
For a reel this price I would have expected no bushings, and at least cermaic bearings

I've recently purchased both this reel and the non app version that uses a dial for the DC brakes. My issue is that your statement about China catching up to Japan is way misleading. I'm sorry but this reel has no where near the refinement, fit and finish, or feel of Shimano and Daiwa. We can sit aside the core solid body reels because obviously this is a toy compared to them but even the non Japan produced Curado mgl 70 and mgl150 is miles ahead China. I mean Lews and Abu's best still falls short so no way these China makers are there yet. One of the huge problems aside from the tolerances between all the internal mechanicals being too sloppy is that they reuse the same parts and gear sets in so many reel at so many price points. Even these 2 DC reels at such high prices are still using the same exact internals of the lowest end kestrel reel, they give no thought in making something unique feeling to their higher end stuff and that's what bothers me, I had moved on to only using Metaniums and a single Bantam and wanted to try a BFS DC thinking surely this is more refined than the last kastking I tried 8 years ago, but no, not really

FYI… QUALITY Machining can be done ANYWHERE in the world. It all comes down to the machinist knowing measurements and tolerances and the rest of the operation knowing the finishing processes just as well. I have extensive experience with elite machinists right here in America that work directly with our Military and in the medical field, particularly micro medicine where the smallest, most precise components are paramount and they manufacture said components to EXACTING tolerances.
Machining is all hard math and as long as you know how, when, and where you need to compensate in order to make operation as smooth as possible, you can make anything just as good as anyone else.
That said, I have MANY reels that Shimano & Daiwa fanboys would swear up and down are pure junk and could never perform on a similar level to their Japanese gear. As a point of reference, I was using both Daiwa & Shimano waaaay before you likely ever heard of them, so I know how quality both brands are, but I've also ventured out and have come to learn that there are plenty of other brand products that are just as good.
Use what you think is best for you, but quit the high & mighty talk before someone like me outcasts and outperforms your entire arsenal of Japanese reels with a $50 Jammie. Can't tell you how many times People running Shimano & Daiwa gear see me cast considerably farther than them and the reel not making any noise, and they feel compelled to ask what I'm casting, and when I tell them a cheap Lew's TXS Dual Brake reel, a $100 Quantum Accurist S3, a Mega Jaws Elite, or My Skeet Reese Icon, they can't believe it. LOLOLOLOL
I have some more expensive reels but those reels have been that surprisingly outstanding from the moment I made the first cast with them. I really love the DC Ziiiiiinnnnng, but they are unnecessarily overpriced as the DC system is marginally better than some other systems, but a "Quality" Dual Brake System is still the absolute best braking system ever devised for a Baitcasting reel, and you can buy 2-3 units for what you'd spend on a single Shimano or Daiwa.

I think you said this thing has a charge port. That would be a deal breaker. First of all, it's irritating and what happens when the port goes bad and the battery. Its a bad design garuntee to fail. And any reels with bt connectivity is stuiped. I garuntee you might use it a couple of times then never again. Just gimmicky junk.

I agree 75% I love technology, but I like my baitcaster simple. Turn the knob until it doesn't backlash. Don't really want to have to whip out my cell phone to make a change. I hope it has a set it and forget it mode. Does it always need to be plugged in to charge, or does it eventually self recharge like Shimano??
