Technically speaking, if P is false, both P -> Q and also P -> ¬Q. So P -> Q and P -> ¬Q aren't strict logical negations.

Yep. They’ve been making this mistake throughout the series. The real negation of P -> Q is not P and Q

Let's say P is false and Q is false. So, ~Q-->~P is true, which means P-->Q is also true. But, Q is false, so P-->~Q is true. So, P-->Q and P-->~Q, but we don't have any contradiction.
