The infamous 八大巨星 (8 Superstars) recorded this album, 欢唱过新年 (as it's known in China) / 欢庆千禧年 (the Malay title), in 2000. Members and participants of this group change each year. WTE released the Malay Edition 欢庆千禧年 while 金碟豹 publicized this album as 欢唱过新年. Each version is unique, for they have various video differences.
