Tracy I must say firstly you have absolutely beautiful hair 😍. Thanks for taking us with you the horses are gorgeous and also those paintings were fantastic. I wish you could have met up with Yvonne from Friesian horses how amazing that would be to see you both together.
Evening TRACEY. Welcome to the NETHERLANDS (U.K Time +1 🥺 ) . The '' KFPS Royal Frisian Horse'' Show must be a wonderful event, indeed.. Too bad University scientists are keeping their researches secret and are still not working hand in hand with private fondations ☹️ Horses on display that weekend are magnificient as usual, powerful but always that fierce attitude and elegant paces. They deserve many, many scratches to ease their stress ♥️ So enjoy the exhibitions of those young stallions . Behind each show there is a fair amount of work, hours of training and dressage . As a pro. with a great equine etics, I guess your first concern will always be the well-being of the animals and your applause will go FIRST to the horses BEHIND the performances 👏 💖
Thank you, so many beautiful horses. I wouldn’t be able to stop looking if I were there. Yvonne from Yvonne’s Herd was there also. I did go to a Dressage horse show in LA once and I was doing circles around myself looking at them all. 😂 LOL
What an incredible trip! You were among this year's new stallions selected for the studbook; it must be an honour. This is on my bucket list of all Friesan things to do. ❤
What a treat and its must be a big event...all those beautiful friesian stallions WOW🥰 ...i tought Nero was there to,breaking some thing 😂 have a fun time and enjoy your weekend...as always 🫶😘🍀
Looks absolutely exciting at the show … I hope you’re not having regrets. Such beauty everywhere around you! Thanks for sharing! And the gang are doing a great job back at Greenbank … so relax and enjoy the show and everything that goes along with it! Happy Trails! 🙏🙌✝️✡️❤️
They are magnificent stallions ❤ So they're bigger - is that what is wanted now? Wish I could pet those velvety muzzles 😍 Lovely to meet Hidde and Hoitze's breeder. Seems like a nice person 😊 Off to listen to the podcast..... I've never understood why people don't collaborate on a problem, so annoying! 😑
Tracey are you bringing some new Friesians and me and my fiancé what to come on stable stays I lost my mare when I was eight due to selling her I loaned a Friesian cross dales and I love rainbow he brings me some much happiness on the sadest of days your amazing and my wish would be to come on stable stays after my riding accident xxxx
S What an amazing show and so good to see you enjoying some time for yourself Tracy. Look forward to seeing more from the show and those beautiful horses. ❤
Must’ve felt amazing seeing all those stallions! I do wonder if any of them tried to nuzzle your face when they were getting ready.. ^^ You probably might have seen Yvonne somewhere in the audience..❤💙
So cool that you ran into someone you know! Have you seen any horse you've known in a past life? Also, by tall do you mean over 16 hands? Just curious. Loving the experience vicariously! 💕
I dont know. I still feel for these beautiful animals with no say in their destiny. No say in their small stalls. No say in whether they can lie down or not. No say in their use. Horses are such sentient creatures, able to pick up our heartbeats from yards away. I may be too sentimental but I know there is abuse that goes on with any animal husbandry.
*Tracey Awesome video... But did you also catch up with Yvonne from StalH of 'Friesian Horses' as she was also at the show to, as she has also just put up two videos about the event 🙂nz*
I often wonder what the ratio is to get the prefect horse. I know a lot of mares are bred every year basically most of their adult life. I am curious about the numbers/ratio.
Tracey, it always seems like Friesian Stallions are not so "stallionish". they just seem to be not so bothered about challenging another Stallion. I am not saying they don't try to establish rank but more relaxed around each other.
just wondering those stallions all seem so slim.is this just because they are still young? or is this a general thing today?... for me a Friesian always had more draught horse.baroque horse characteristics..🤔
There was more noise and unrest today simply because they are young stallions coming and going who don't yet fully understand what's involved in taking part in these events. Tomorrow with the stables full of approved stallions who have been doing these things for years, it will be a more settled environment. I'm sure at home they are all far more settled.
Have a wonderful trip and enjoy yourself! 🐎🐎🐎
What a great trip! Thanks for sharing!
Tracy those were some beautiful horses 🐎 there 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

Plenty of Friesans to see there going through their paces.
Look at all those stables and horses hooves
😊just beautiful 🥰
What lovely horses, they really are very handsome. Did Hidde and Hoitze ever have offspring?
They are magnificent stallions ❤
So they're bigger - is that what is wanted now?
Wish I could pet those velvety muzzles 😍
Lovely to meet Hidde and Hoitze's breeder. Seems like a nice person 😊

So pleased you've been able to make the trip. A lot of scary noises in the background but none of the horses seem unduly concerned. ❤

I’m with you on that - as much as I respect the dedication to the breed I still find it hard to see horses caged and confused in any situation.
I confess I like the baroque type, like Hoitze and Hidde. Do the”sport” types still have a separate stud book?

Ibthinknymrhese all seem very stressed with all that noise and hoif stamping?

Is it mentally good for all those stallions to be in such proximity to each other, they all seem very stressed?
There was more noise and unrest today simply because they are young stallions coming and going who don't yet fully understand what's involved in taking part in these events. Tomorrow with the stables full of approved stallions who have been doing these things for years, it will be a more settled environment. I'm sure at home they are all far more settled.
reminds me if Wandsworth prison back in the day if you know you know hope they aren't corralled in there for to long ?
I’ve never been but stables / cages of any sort always make me think of prisons 😞
