While I agree that they signed their contracts to show their relationship to the world, this breakup was extremely humiliating and degrading to the poor woman. His behaviour made me sick to my stomach, I think she was extremely poised and graceful in this messed up situation. No good words for a man with a Peter Pan syndrome .

I feel like he became the Bachelor out of fear. Maybe it was an impulsive decision based on his reaction to his brother’s wedding (his brother got married when he was 24 years old). But he knew he wasn’t ready. He wanted a young and exciting woman, someone who wasn’t smart or “boring”. I guess if you spent five years living in Arizona hooking up with sorority girls, you’re not ready to settle down.
Nothing will ever be as dramatic and emotional as the Rachel and Peter breakup! Which I now kinda wish they had unedited version of that... if only to kill me more!

I want to know what Arie and Lauren talked about before he broke up with Becca. She must've given him enough hope that he thought she would take him back.
He did tell Lauren that he was having a lot of doubts, and he did ask her that if things did not work out between him and Becca, would she consider giving their relationship another chance? He definitely got the green light from Lauren before he went ahead with his plan to end his engagement, which makes his statement to Becca that he was taking a "big risk" by trying to get back with Lauren a big joke. He wasn't taking any risk at all, Lauren already told him she would give their relationship another chance. Arie would never be willing to leave a relationship without a new one already secured and waiting for him, he's too insecure to be alone.

I think he wanted to film the breakup for Lauren . . so she'll feel secure that they're over. It doesn't make it ok..we all been in Becca's shoes but you just can't explain why something doesn't work. The "wrong" and risky decision always sticks with you. The chase is better than the catch...
The worst thing about it is the fact that B had absolutely no idea A was ending things up. He said, at first he could see B saw that he was still thinking about L... If she did know it to this extend her heart would be whole.
Becca just didn’t seem that blindsided to me. She kept it together surprisingly well. I feel like I’d have totally had a nuclear meltdown lol, maybe she was trying to be calm and collected for the camera? Plus, the show had wrapped, so how was she still all bubbly expecting his arrival at the house knowing that filming post-show isn’t something that ever really happens? She had to have known something was wrong. And LMAO I said the exact same thing when he knocked on the bathroom door asking if she was ok. He sounded JUST LIKE a dad checking in on his kid who was in there with the stomach bug. Sigh... I don’t know what to believe anymore. This was the most emotionless season. Even Lauren after getting dumped at the last rose ceremony.. she didn’t have anything to say to him and then when he walked her to the limo she says “why did you do that?” Lol. I think he’s going to be getting asked that question for a very long time to come. Also, I just can’t help but wonder how Arie isn’t going to think of Becca in the future.. when he and Lauren run into inevitable problems, how is he not going to think “what if this were happening with Becca right now?”... But then again, he just seemed so cold and over it when breaking it off her with her. No emotion at all. This is why it’s so hard to truly give yourself to a relationship. He promised her he would choose her every day for the rest of their lives. They were already talking about babies! And then just a few weeks later, a broken engagement so he can go to someone else. For the most part I take this show with a grain of salt because it’s so hard to know what’s real and what isn’t, but this finale was definitely bothersome! I hope Becca is the next bachelorette because she deserves her moment to shine, but I hope she does it because she wants to, not to prove something to anyone.

Becca did not agree to have this filmed remember, she thought they were having a happy couples weekend and they were shooting some footage of it. This was so wrong of them to exploit this moment, but what do you expect, the season was a drag so they tried to get an exciting moment out of it at Becca's expense and it was awful to watch. This was extremely disrespectful of both Arie and the franchise. She thought her love story had been filmed, she didnt think there would be like 30 minutes of footage of a breakup when typically the breakups filmed on this show dont drag on as long. I cant even believe them right now.

I think he wanted to film the breakup for Lauren . . so she'll feel secure that they're over. It doesn't make it ok..we all been in Becca's shoes but you just can't explain why something doesn't work. The "wrong" and risky decision always sticks with you. The chase is better than the catch...

Becca just didn’t seem that blindsided to me. She kept it together surprisingly well. I feel like I’d have totally had a nuclear meltdown lol, maybe she was trying to be calm and collected for the camera? Plus, the show had wrapped, so how was she still all bubbly expecting his arrival at the house knowing that filming post-show isn’t something that ever really happens? She had to have known something was wrong. And LMAO I said the exact same thing when he knocked on the bathroom door asking if she was ok. He sounded JUST LIKE a dad checking in on his kid who was in there with the stomach bug. Sigh... I don’t know what to believe anymore. This was the most emotionless season. Even Lauren after getting dumped at the last rose ceremony.. she didn’t have anything to say to him and then when he walked her to the limo she says “why did you do that?” Lol. I think he’s going to be getting asked that question for a very long time to come. Also, I just can’t help but wonder how Arie isn’t going to think of Becca in the future.. when he and Lauren run into inevitable problems, how is he not going to think “what if this were happening with Becca right now?”... But then again, he just seemed so cold and over it when breaking it off her with her. No emotion at all.
This is why it’s so hard to truly give yourself to a relationship. He promised her he would choose her every day for the rest of their lives. They were already talking about babies! And then just a few weeks later, a broken engagement so he can go to someone else. For the most part I take this show with a grain of salt because it’s so hard to know what’s real and what isn’t, but this finale was definitely bothersome! I hope Becca is the next bachelorette because she deserves her moment to shine, but I hope she does it because she wants to, not to prove something to anyone.

Becca did not agree to have this filmed remember, she thought they were having a happy couples weekend and they were shooting some footage of it. This was so wrong of them to exploit this moment, but what do you expect, the season was a drag so they tried to get an exciting moment out of it at Becca's expense and it was awful to watch. This was extremely disrespectful of both Arie and the franchise. She thought her love story had been filmed, she didnt think there would be like 30 minutes of footage of a breakup when typically the breakups filmed on this show dont drag on as long. I cant even believe them right now.
getting predictable tho... every season something is slated to be more shocking, and here we go... all of this could have happened behind the scenes, but I get your point... all the silence & dead-eye gazing tho... omg... yiiiiikes

I was waiting the whole day for this video! Watching the break up was so uncomfortable! Becca was amazing I was just scream at the TV telling her to punch him so he would finally leave. He is super selfish and I dislike him more because now I have to watch one more episode of the worst season in the bachelor history!
