- I love finding dispersed camping/boondocking spots out in the National Forests of the Ozarks! I found a beautiful spot among the oak and pine trees off of an old dirt road. I ventured over to Buzzards Rock Lookout and found a stunning lookout spot that allowed you to see many miles of the Ozarks! After, I rode over to check out Big Shoal Falls. The falls did not disappoint. After all the exploring I did, I would up back at camp, cooking a juicy steak in my well seasoned cast iron. Thanks for watching!

Nice area, beautiful scenery! I Iearn a lot from your channels. I love traveling, seeing new sights and camping.
Thank you! I think I'm the first to comment. Yay! ✅👍☺
Thanks! Glad my vids are helpful. Sorry but @18wheeldieselmobile beat you to the first comment. ;-)
Love this could watch these videos for hours Mark you really do put a lot of work into them and we appreciate it
Glad you like them!
Good to see you back on TH-cam again Mark. Looks like you have two new bikes. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Keep up the great TH-cams.
You bet! My bikes to me are just tools I use to get around to explore. I do love having them in my travels for sure. Thanks for watching!
That e-bike would be great on the forest roads, being able to travel quietly and listen to the sounds of nature!
I agree. I'm really liking bikes. Very convenient to jump on and go.
Buzzard rock! Wow! Awesome spot and great to be in the kitchen! Cookin' good!
You got that right!
Nice looking place out there Mark! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching
@@DispersedCamperMan the Dji deal with the drones, you wil be grandfathered in and can still use it, just cant buy a new one if it passes. On the National Parks Deal, they are advancing a bill, House Bill 6492 called the Explore Act, its near being signed I think. I will email you the link to the original document!
In 76, I was 14. Great video Mark. I like the E bike. Nice and quiet. Drone footage is excellent. Leah and I are headed out to New Mexico and Colorado next week. Have a great day.
Have fun out in NM and Colorado. Wish I was out there also. LOL Safe Travels!
@@DispersedCamperMan Thanks!
Good to see you back on TH-cam! Have missed you!
Thanks! I've been taking it easy, doing a lot of exploring. Thanks for watching!
You snuck in a Transalp on us! Sweet. Love the turtle too.
Oh yeah!
That sirloin had some serious marbling going on, looked delicious.
So good
A long wait , but well worth it !
Glad to see that you are out and about doing videos 📹!
Nearly summer time , be careful !
Thanks, will do!
The Mountain Magazine area is definitely one of my favorite places to explore, especially because it’s so close to my house. Next time you’re in the area, give me a shout, brother.
Totally agree! I'm going to have to keep the generators fired up over night soon, the humidity is starting to rear it's ugly head. LOL
😂 well that’s one way to get a signal. Nice job. keep an eye on that E bike. They have a tendency to magically ride away when you are not looking. I actually live in an old 2 room school house. It’s about 115 years old. It was a 2 room with a coat room/library. It’s got the original door on it. 2 chimneys. Cool hard wood floors too. That’s a nice camp spot 👍🏼
I normally camp where there aren't very many folks around. I did buy a lock/cable for my ebike when I think I need it. Neat house you live in. Thanks for watching!
Another awesome campsite! Buzzard Rock Overlook and Big Shoal Falls were beautiful! Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Saddle bags rock. That is awesome country. Thank you! 👍😎🇨🇦
Yes they do
HA FIRST FINALLY 😂👍
Nice....
Nice area and nice ebike, good to see you are still out there and still creating content ! Travel well.
Thanks! 👍
Thank you for another amazing place to check out. I checked out North Fork lake you showed us. I stayed for a week in the Fourche mountain area to watch the Eclipse.
Snoopers rock above Chattanooga to the west had some camping and it’s a cool spot .
Very cool! I need to sometime visit Tennessee for sure!
Beautiful footage & thank you for sharing, your Starlink mounting is really cool also. I just bought a used Honda nc700x & can't wait to take it along on some truck camper adventures. Also thank you for sharing the locations of such beautiful camping areas.
My harbor freight flag pole has definitely came in handy in my travels. LOL Your welcome on the locations, hope you find them as enjoyable as I did. Safe Travels to you and yours!
That steak looked delicious!!
It was! Thanks Angie!
Great camera work. Keep it going!
Thanks, will do!
Was wondering where you been bud! Did some dispersed camping in Texas at the LBJ Grasslands two weeks ago, stopped in Arkansas to solo overnight in the Arkansas River. Headed to the Ozarks in 2 weeks!
LBJ sounds neat to check out. Safe Travels in the Ozarks.
Wow! What a great place. Thank you for sharing~
It really is!
Another great video Mark. You have the most authentic videos out there. We can really tell you absolutely love what you’re doing. Can’t wait for the next video. Because of you we now have found a close and wonderful area to disperse camp. Thank you. Also what are your security cameras? That’s a great addition
Awesome! Thank you! The outside cameras I use are the Hiseeu Battery Camp Camera: amzn.to/3wnvmXH off of amazon.
what a view.
Thank you
Welcome!
Might have to try mounting starlink to ebike, do a live...
Hi Wes!
@tracyphillips3325 hey buddy, good to hear from u.
That would be neat to do.
Great to see you out there and camping. I'm liking my ebike as well. Sadly one pass down a gravel road and the bike isn't fit to sit on.
I purchased single bike cover: Team Obsidian: Bike Covers | Styles - Outdoor Storage or Transportation/Travel | Waterproof, Heavy Duty, 300D Oxford Ripstop Materials | Sizes L, XL, XXL for 1,2 or 3 bikes.
A cargo net helps keep it in place : Grizzly Gear Automotive Large Bungee Cargo Net w 16 Durable Hooks - 7" Mesh Elastic Stretches to 7.5' x 5' - Compatible w All Pickup Truck Beds & Trailers - Heavy Duty, Weatherproof -Storage Made Easy
Thanks! Love being out in the forest.
These could be useful. I'm looking to purchase a small enclosed trailer within a year. It should fix my dirt road dusting out problem.
@@DispersedCamperMan wondered when you were. Load that puppy up with solar panels and batteries and turn it into a rolling power station.
@@DispersedCamperMan me too. I’ve got the PC kicked, but now I’m having vertigo and double vision issues. Have a MRI next week followed by an appointment with a neurologist. My camping season typically ends on Memorial Day weekend though Labor Day. Just too many people camping these days. I roll into my favorite boondocking sites and there’s already someone there. Didn’t use to be that way. Stay safe, well and positive.
great spot
Yes it was!
That steak looks so yummy
So good
Cool, your the same age as me. Great video. You keep saying the Ozarks but aren't these the Ouachitas?
Some folks think they are the Ouachita's since they are so close to the Ouachitas. But this little section of the forest are part of the Ozarks.
You are squared away Air Force ! Love your gorgeous new E Bike.....very nice. Thanks for another great video and always great to see you having a great time. You are living the life many men only dream about. When are you planning your next trip out West? It's going to get hot before you know it out in your favorite Arizona and I know you like the heat and sparse crowds. Best to you Mark ! Kinda sad people feel the need to put bullet holes in the door of the beautiful old schoolhouse.....takes a bit of ignorance and lack of respect.
Thanks! I'm looking at sometime end of next year for my next excursion out west. I'm here in Arkansas taking care of some appointments and tying up loose ends. I'm looking forward to exploring more out west! Can't wait.
Beautiful area. How's the tick population?
The tick population is going strong this time of year. I try and stay out of the thickets and tall grass. Been lucky so far. LOL
like the star link pole.
I use it often. Very handy.
God's Country, Thanks
It sure is!
Mark, question for you. I like your setup. Did the KLR not suit the needs of dispersed camping? I was going to go the Yamaha XT 250 route, but making runs back into town made me thing a 650 would be better. But then again you sacrifice the light weight of the 250 in case of falls.
Thanks! I'm planning on upgrading my whole setup within a year. Next year when I head out west, I'm hoping to have a new truck, camper and an enclosed trailer to keep my toys out of the elements. LOL I found my KLR 650 lacking in power. On some highway roads around Moab, it struggled to climb them going 65 MPH. It also felt bulky to ride and felt heavy. My Honda Rally 250, loved the bike, but I just couldn't keep up on hwy/interstate speeds. Most interstate speeds are at least 70-80 mph, I just didn't feel comfortable being on the interstate with my 250. Since I started bringing a trailer with me, I decided to get a 750, and decided to stick with Honda's. I love my 750 transalp, and planning on keeping it for some time. If you've seen my latest video, I'm also starting to take an ebike with me. I'm really liking ebikes. They are very convenient to have. More to come on it in the future. Safe Travels Paul!
Same here. My plan is to use my enclosed utility trailer. Carry both bikes, a 250 and a 650 plus have more storage.
I’m going to like the more storage part for sure. lol.
@@DispersedCamperMan I haven't seen your e-bike yet, but I love my e-bike. I've had it almost 4 years.
Are you in Moab right now?
No
been looking for some new stuff
I was told to watch my fat tires in the desert sun as a couple of people had them pop in the heat
Good advice. Hopefully mine don't do that.
I don't know if you heard, but the US House just approved a bill that could ban the sale of DJI drones in the US. It hasn't passed the Senate yet, and maybe it won't. But if you have any plans to buy a drone.... lol.
I've heard about it. It's still got to pass the senate, I'm just going to wait and see if it passes or not. I am looking hard at the DJI Mini 4 with screen built in controller. LOL I'm also waiting for the national parks bill to pass to make it legal to film in national parks and post to youtube. Fingers Crossed.
