What happened was i went to a private boarding school, MHS, and my second year there [7th grade, 2002] i had thanksgiving break and went to my grandmothers and my brother was the playstation guy. so naturally, growing up with disney afternoon/toon disney [honestly when disney was a powerhouse] I noticed he had this kingdom hearts.. I tried that game so fuckin fast, my life has never been the same since lol. Fast foward, i leave my school in 9th grade and come home to philly and i got a ps2 for my 15th birthday, specifically to play KH. didnt realize KHII would come out that year. fucking hell what a game.
***** It's very similar to how the original Game Boy had a similar chipset to the NES. Nintendo is not above reusing older hardware on newer platforms.
