I was out farming couple days ago and came back to my base blown apart by him. First time on a official pvp server and that guy popped my cherry. I wasnt even 60 yet...I knew what I signed up for when I joined the server, cant really complain too much. At least you bested him in pvp.

Lol, I couldn’t agree more. I’m such a raid noob that I didn’t find out until this raid that the burn from the fire actually stops your healing. Live and learn, lmao.
Oh nice! The first playthrough of Conan is always the most fun cause there’s so much to learn and explore. Take your time learning the game and I hope you have some awesome adventures. :)
Great video but I do think able repairing right after getting damaged is probably the worst part of pvp. I was able to hold off a team of three because of it. At least give it 10 sec from initial damage
I don't like that you can repair the base either. It should be like the Purge where you can't repair your base. But like I said, given the current way of things, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. So well played on his part.
@@xCMG1987x I agree making bomb is too easy and how much damage they do is crazy, if they nerfed damage or resources usage would help raiding pvp. I would like to see that plus maybe a 2-3 sec build delay. Early game I fire and grease orb bases, I hit T2 bases easy. I think they’re too strong as well. I include a delay because I was able to defend a tier 3 2x3 by myself, no thralls vs 3 players and I didn’t have to fight them. Even though I came out on top I still felt it was unbalanced. We all know PVP is broken but I think to start balancing it they need to slow down raiding. Then again the official server I play on has clan no larger than 5 but rarely are they on at the same. So what I think might not work if all 5 are on

Hey bro, thanks for commenting. So the lag that I am referring to is the lag due to server performance which is heavily impacted by raids or when the server gets filled up with a lot of people. The recording doesn’t really show it much, but when you’re actually playing in the moment, you can really feel the FPS drop at times. Also, the game/characters are always glitching out and doing weird things. Like in the video, my opponents character was teleporting like Dragon Ball Z. Also, the bombs weren’t igniting when placed over the fire. That’s all due to the server performance. Oh and the PC question. Honestly I’m not really the most tech person to ask, haha. My PC is about 2.5 years old since I bought it and it cost me around 1,300. I haven’t looked at the PC market in a while, but I’ll probably upgrade to something a little better next year. Not sure what to recommend though, just know I’m able to play (and record at the same time) most games pretty ok with my current machine.

Are you playing officials? I haven't played conan in a long time, but iirc what he's doing by placing foundations and rebuilding during raid is bannable in pretty much all PVP community servers
Raid time is specific to every server’s time zone. It’s usually a 5 hour window for raiding. So if you’re on a U.S. east coast server, raid time will be from 6 PM to 11 PM.
They really need to add structure repair cool down timers like ark and rust have that's ridiculous that A person can repair all the damage you inflect on structure 😓
Depending on server settings, yes. In official servers, the default is build at any time. Most private servers have it turned off, or if they have it turned on they have some kind of house rule where the defender can repair but not build.
You get way more out of pvp than me and my buddies do. I used medium armor all the way until 55 or so XD. We also dont power level. Just end up at 60 after a few days.
Only good thing about Conan on console is far less hackers on it, but everything else is light years better on PC. You’ll definitely enjoy it more on PC. Better graphics + performance

@@Zelosykes hi i'm quite new in conan, i haven't played pvp yet, can you explain me why are you using 20 agi but strength weapon and buffs? i understand that with agi you are faster, but is really worth it trading heavy hits with max strength + buffs for speed, don't you lose a lot of attack power with this combo? As a solo raider, your options for a decent build are extremely limiting. You need to invest points into Agility for a few reasons: 1) The third perk in Agility is a MUST because it enables you to move faster and if you don't have this perk, most players will be able to catch up to you and outrun you. If players can easily catch up to you, you're gonna lose all of your raid supplies. 2) You'll also need the fourth perk, Rolling Thrust, which will grant you a stamina-free attack and this is necessary for self-defense because attacks in the Age of War are very stamina-costly. If you're constantly out of stamina, that's gonna get you killed. Next you'll need to invest in Vitality simply for survivability. You'll want to be able to take as many hits as possible from your enemies, as well as bomb/fire damage. Lastly, you'll need to invest in Expertise for the fourth perk, Beast of Burden, which allows you to move at regular speed while being over-encumbered. You need this perk so you can carry all of your raid supplies and loot. Sadly, there aren't enough attribute points to be invested into Strength because you need all of those points for Agi, Vit, and Expertise. So why am I going with Strength weapons over Agility weapons? That's because there aren't that many good Agility weapons aside from the Agility spears. Most of the time, when you're solo online raiding, you're gonna be outnumbered and the Great Axe is excellent because of it's AoE attacks, which is great for hitting multiple enemies at once. It is also a strong enough Strength weapon do to decent damage even with no points in Strength when you buff it with Salted Pork and Black Lotus Potion. So yeah, when you're out solo raiding, it's extremely limiting and your hands are pretty tied with what you can do. Kinda rambled a bit, but hopefully that answers your question. Have fun!
You gotta farm world bosses and farm them to collect skeleton keys. Then you gotta go to varies dungeons and usually at the end, you'll find the chests that can be unlocked with the keys. The chances of getting the Black Dragon Spear/Vaulting Pole aren't the greatest cause it's completely random. There's 47 possible weapons you can get from the chests. Good luck!
The repair mechanics in this game are really very bad. Already, being the raider is not advantageous with players who can arrive from anywhere, especially as a solo player. They should set up a system where the damaged area can't be repaired for a certain period of time, which would make basic raiding a lot more fun. Sorry if my English is incorrect i am still learning :p
The repair Meta wins again. The only thing you could have done would have been running in 5 bombs at a time naked, Using your bodies as a way marker But probably wouldn't have worked in this instance anyways because they would have plenty of time to repair. Once fought off 6 hackers in crevice using repair Meta
I learned a lot from this raid. I gotta move quicker next time and if you're close to breaching, try to destroy structures in one explosion if possible.
Imo its funny how every game official servers are absolute garbage. P.S Its a bit silly that people can repair their broken buildings instantly and / or block the holes instantly. I like how its done in ARK where you have a cooldown after parts take dmg before you can repair and the wreckage of broken building parts will prevent you from placing new parts for a while until those old broken parts disappear / despawn around. Cant just sit in a base through the raid just replacing or repairing all the time.
Yeah, I don't like that you can rebuild during a raid, but you can't blame him. It's a survival game where you can lose everything you've worked for, so you gotta do what you gotta do to survive the raid.

The fun part about online raiding is that you’re giving your enemy an opportunity to defend and it becomes a battle to see who comes out on top. If you really wanna have a fun online raid where repairing doesn’t really happen, you’ll want to raid tower bases. Those are always the most fun to raid. Tunnel/cave bases like the one in the video always tend to be the least fun cause most players will turn to repairing as a last resort if they aren’t doing so great against the raiders.

I think funcom at least made it so you can't place/repair past one wall preventing my strategy from working anymore.

been there, it's annoying that they can repair immidiatly, the game Rust is smart in that even thou i don't play it

When he first raided me 12 months ago, I was just setting up my base. I raided him at the same time too, haha. Before he expanded.
This is why building during raid times should be removed. Cant really blame the player not wanting to fight cause lag is immense and without limit

Seems like a lot of people feel this way. I wonder if Funcom would be open to adding a cooldown for repairs during raids.
