Feels to me like Carti's been saying a lot of insider info from his past relationship with Iggy, especially on this album. It's very clear from many songs like Control, Sky, Over and many more, that he's actually in awe of her and dare I say, afraid of her? It feels like he got into a relationship he didn't want and while he respects her, he's never been wanting to be tied down to her in the classical, marriage faring sort of way. Just seems like the guy's in awe of this chick so much he's dedicating songs to her left and right, but is very much afraid to commit. What's more telling is the fact that their 6 year age difference kinda shows here, Iggy blasted him on IG live, while this boy dedicating almost an entire album to one woman is crazy, especially for a guy calling himself Playboi

I mean cmon, sure, lots of leaked bangers, but most of that shit could have been put on a Die Lit 2 and he could have called it a day and the album would have sold as well as this one. Instead he chose to redo WLR many times and now we here appreciatin the man for putting his soul out in front of everyone to see. That takes courage ya know?
I aint tryin to read hard into it, it just sounds like this album is way more personal than Die Lit.
