There is nothing sadder than someone being atheist. I feel bad for you not knowing the Lord. So sad to think that if you ever had a sick child you would not pray for them. Also so tragic that when you take your last breath it will be too late. My heart hurts for you
@@michelewalburger9729 I find your message so sad. This woman is showing although she is atheist that she supports and accepts everyone whatever they decide to believe. I’m publishing a weekly TH-cam video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him.. Thank you
I am not a religious person, but watching this gives me pure joy. I deeply respect what you are doing! A lot of people would probably see you entering a convent as giving up live...but I see, that enetring a convent for you is living life to the fullest. This is at least what i think about it, how i recive it :)
Of all the Grotto videos that I have watched thus far, this is my absolute favorite! Just to see all the happiness and joy going on with these women. No they are not sacrificing anything but they are giving their love to Christ. :-)
When in Toledo (Spain) we went to visit the tomb of the painter Velazquez, which is guarded by nuns. We started to talk to the sister that was there, and when we say the Mother approaching, she was so serious that we thought she would shoo us away and tell the sister off because of talking to people. But she joined the conversation, and when she saw I was so interested in indian culture (the sister we were talking to was Indian, just like a big number of the convent's sisters), she told us that in Christmas the Indian sisters decided to play a game for the dinner and dressed her up in a saree, jewels and with a bindi for Christmas dinner. The sister was laughing when remembering it, and the love between the sister and the Mother was so visible and pure. Made me feel a little in love with the convent life
There's the sensational aspect of media, but also I think it depends on the era and the ''branch'' (I don't know how to call it, but there's different groups of christian nuns) the people join. Each covent seems to have different approaches, structures and the roles the take in the community would definitely influence the way they interact with each other/outside society. They have different sets of vows, rules and hierarchies, on top of what the current social climate is like. We often see historical depictions of religious people and ways of behaving changes through times even for religious groups :)
I was the sister of Notre Dame in Covington Kentucky in 1981 and I was 18 years old. I stayed for five years and during those times I made a great friendships and grew closer to God. It was a wonderful experience but at the same time I was definitely not called so I left at age 23. Now I’m 55 years old and I still have contacted some of the sisters who have left and we remember the good times the laughter the funny things that occurred in every day life and I am so grateful for that time even though it wasn’t meant to be. I wish you all the joy
Judith ferris - Thanks for sharing your story. It is nice that you are still in touch with the friends that you made when you were a nun. I am sure it was an important part of your life.
WoW so beautiful! Yeah, it's true, we allí are called un different ways! God wants nuns with all his heart and He loves them so so much, but definetely he would not like everything woman to be in a convent
It took me 2 years of discernment before I finally decided to enter seminary. Somehow you feel a fire burning inside you, a desire to live a life for God and for God's people. You can only understand or feel it I guess, if you grew up in a fervent Catholic family. So that was in 2002. I was finally ordained a priest in 2013. And I haven't had a single moment of regret so far. Yes you give up your family, your hobbies, your life in a certain way, but as the Gospel says...you earn also a.hundred times more. I hope and pray that many young people will feel God's call.aand respond to it. May God bless young woman and her sisters. Their prayers keep the world going and the fire of love burning.
I’m a man and did this when I was 18. I joined a cloistered monastery and lived there under strict vows as a monk for 10 years. We also had a 24 hour vigil in our temple. Believe me guys, this girl has a strong heart.
Same^^, also I'm kinda struggling to get up and go pray right now because I always procrastinate on the things I want to do, but then this video popped in my recommended and the girl is like I try to pull myself up out of bed at 1am to pray, and I'm like ugh OK fine I'll get up now 😆
To all the people saying it's a waste of time...If becoming a nun is what you want to do and makes you happy then that's a good thing. Everyone is different and not everyone wants the same things in life. Most people who live a "normal" life and do "normal" stuff and have a "normal" career or job aren't too happy. And people who do the "normal" thing and date and get married end up getting cheated on and divorced and end miserable most times.
David#323 It obviously takes sacrifice and commitment to be a nun. And they can leave and break their vows if they choose to. They chose to be in that life, and actually MANY are happy being in it.
I’m 21 and I also want to give my whole life to Jesus.. I feel called to the carmelite vocation. I hope the Lord will lead me there, or wherever I’ll be most united to Him❤
Sister, if you feel the need to pray at 2 am, then the lord is calling you. I showed my mom this video as her aunt was a nun. My mom said how times have changed. She remembers having very strict sisters as teachers in her Catholic school years. She loved seeing you all laugh and having fun. Bless you all.
Beverly thacker Its worth noting that the terrible nun teachers so many older people recall from their childhood 1. Were not that different from public school teachers in the earlier 20th century, when teachers were often very strict, and many schools employed forms of corporal punishment. I think it partlystands out for people because you expect a professional religious to be loving and gentle, so there is a contrast there. 2. Also, these people were sometimes not people who freely chose to be nuns OR teachers. A century ago and even less, it used to be that some Catholic parents with large families would "pick" certain kids to become priests or nuns (I know one woman whose father begged and pleaded with her for years, and was very upset that she utimately said no.) In addition, some orders of non-cloistered nuns would choose what needful job you were going to provide-- if teachers were needed, you would become a teacher, end of story. Nun and Teacher are two jobs that truly require a calling, and forcing people into them is bound to sometimes have very unhappy results!
@@melissasaint3283 You are so right. I know two friends who are teachers by vocation. Even if they hadn't trained for it they would still teach others what they know. They are the best teachers I've ever met. Yet I remember my elementary and highschool teachers (public school) from the sixties and seventies. My first grade teacher was downright cruel; parents ignored our complaints until she finally actually hurt someone where it was obvious. Others told us right in class they only did it for the money, it was a job. A lot of the women teachers were already menopausal, particularly in elementary school, and the mood swings could be terrifying for little kids--this was before it was really understood and helped.

Some monastic orders have regular hours for prayers with some such as Cistercians starting in the middle of the night and pray the Hours at regular times throughout the day. Not all. Some have reduced it considerably. Others still do, though.

Anita Gomez She will be able to see them later. At this early stage of her training she is learning sacrifice. That is one. But one she wont forever have to give up. She is cloistered and only with other nuns unless in church or in charity. This changes as she progresses. She will have a chance at a college education and she will be given more freedoms (to a point) as she progresses.

I think my sister is considering joining a convent. It’s a path I don’t know if I could ever truly take but I couldn’t be more proud of her, it brings me a LOT of joy to see her really finding her place in the world.
Everyone who is saying this is a waste of time and life is an embarrassment to every nonreligious/nonChristian person. Respect other people's beliefs please. This girl did nothing to you nor did she criticise you, so please do not look down on her to make yourselves seem better. Thank you.
So true, some people can be so mean. I'm agnostic (still figuring out where I stand in the world etc) and would never disrespect someone's religion/belief/spirituality etc. I'm always open and happy to learn, and she and the sisters seem so happy and just want to spread love and joy. Isn't that all that counts?
i agree, but at the same time i cant blame some people for just associating religion with anger and hate. kinda like its hard to blame some black people for hating white people even though all white people dont hate them. like yes its deff not gonna help us make progress to being more accepting, but like calling them embarassments will just make them defensive also and isnt going to do much either.
Having grown up (and still remain) a faithful practicing Catholic, I remember the exodus from the religious orders in the 1960s and 70s, and watched the aging of those who remained. It is so great to see the recent increase in vocations and especially of young beautiful women being called to the traditional orders. It fills me with such hope for the future of the Church and the world.
Beautiful post, Glen.👌 You're so right to point out how such young, beautiful women (who could go places in the world), chose the "better part" ( JESUS to Martha regarding Mary). When younger, I couldn't get how handsome young men would choose the Priesthood and so too for those young successful women, in joining the Convent. That's testimony to the Call from Above. Happy Easter 2024 ✝️🐰✝️🐣
The more you give yourself to Jesus, the more he gives back. He pours out his grace down upon his servant. Peace and happiness which money can't not buy.
You can not buy fathers love. It is there or it isn't. You already have his grace, you tell it like some stand closer to jesus than others, that is not correct and very egoistic
Thank you for showing that our modern age Nuns are just "people" too with the same ability to laugh, express themselves & feel joy & sadness throughout their service to God...& NOT to be feared...
Sister Fiat, I first met you almost six years ago at that beautiful youth group, Agape. You were, and remain, a major factor in my faith-life. I remember when I first joined Antioch. You welcomed me into that wonderful community of which you had been a part for so long. As I help prepare for the upcoming Antioch retreat, I recall the joy I had from just being around (then Rachel) and I feel joy that you have now found your vocation as Sister Fiat. I remember the late nights at Antioch last year as I shared a sleep home with Caleb, the last of the Staley Dynasty of Antioch. Please know that your courage and the prayers of the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration have greatly impacted me and the discernment of my own vocation. Sister Fiat, your commitment, your "fiat" to God is truly inspiring. May God grant you endless joy and peace in your vocation. Prayers and love always. P.S. I hope one day we might meet again. Maybe a serendipitous encounter on my way in/out of one of my visits to the Perpetual Adoration Chapel on the Hill.
I wanted so much to be a nun when I was 29, but was rejected for whatever reason. I live a happy, single life now supporting self and giving charity to those who really need it.
Awww this brought me back when watching the nuns in my catholic school and highschool, they were always so happy and when they did activities for the students they always did their best, even though many students didn't cooperate because they found religious related activities boring. I don't think I'd be able to become a nun, since ever since I was little I knew I wanted to have a husband and kids, but I'll always appreciate their kindness :)
Truly wonderful. So rare these days to see people who are genuinely joyful. Most people have a plastic smile for every occasion. I call it teeth-flashing.
God truly gives a calling to his nuns. They know the sacrifice and most give in to the love they feel. There is a special place in Heaven for these devoted women. I admire them greatly.
We can all have a slice of this joy by turning off the tv, spending our money on needs and not wants, being satisfied with simple things and getting into the Word of God daily and walking with the Lord Jesus in a relationship instead of a once a week or once a year event. God has always wanted us to obey His commands and love our neighbors as ourselves. If families put down electronic devices and spent time as family, that would help too! I pray the Lord blesses you and uses you as a tool to lead people to Him. Blessings from Texas!
It looks like the sisters are able to express real joy now!. Saint Francis laughed. I'm not Catholic but I really connected to " The Little Flowers Of Saint Francis ". I was setting up a wedding once and met a young Priest. I asked him if he had read this book and was wondering why he said no
ForestGreenKingsfold OrganGeek ......There are many ways to seek the Glory of God. Catholic is one. I am Catholic but I have friends of many religions. We all crave a spiritual nourishing. God knows we all worship Him differently. Religion is a man made idea. You should be part of a religion that feels right to you. If Catholicism is not for you, then you were not meant to worship that way. Even God Himself says "I am called many names."...
Why did you wonder why he said no? There are many many saints and many many writings about and by saints. Not every preist has read every one of them. A lot of time Catholics will have a special saint they look to for inspiration. Sounds like you were inspired by st. Francis and the things he said and accomplished. That's the beauty of the saints, there's something for everyone.
Angie Brodland I hear you. I just assumed all priests have read everything on every saint. I realize now not everyone is drawn to the same thing. I thank you for asking me why I said that.
I LOVE THIS! You can tell that her faith brings her genuine joy, and that she isn’t acting out of fear or shame or expectations. This is what religion should inspire; if your religion doesn’t bring you peace, healing, and joy then it’s time to go find one that does.
When I first visited a convent at 16, I was enamored and wanted to spend all the time in the chapel. My peers were busy chasing boys. I wish there was a call for vocations at my parish at that time. My life would have been spent very differently. Please remember to reach out to the teens in your church, and encourage those who show a special love for Jesus.

I'm personally not Catholic or even religious, but most of my mom's family is. 3 of my great aunts were nuns and another family member was also a nun. They joined right out of high school and lived their entire lives in their order, and were happy. One was a teacher in their school, and one was an RN in their hospital. They do have lives, but a large part is devoted to God. Sadly all have passed away. I know for sure that their order help out a lot in their local community. And in their order they are allowed to call family. This young woman seems very happy and strong in her choice, I wish her much luck and joy.
Kelsey S. - there is a choice that we all must make. The Bible is littered with scriptures about not hardening our hearts. There are countless warnings about hell and the danger of unbelief. There is no way to God except through belief in Jesus. Did you know that Heaven is a free gift from God? Billions of people go to bed every night wondering if they have been “good enough” to go to heaven. There is no need to live in fear and doubt. Jesus taught that you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” There are many passages in the Bible that teach the truth about Heaven being a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, not by our own good works. One of the most clear and important passages is from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians: Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Most people think that Heaven is a riddle which can never be solved. This is not true! The Bible is very clear about how you get to Heaven, and how it comes by faith in Jesus Christ, not by trusting in our own good works. We are living in the dispensation of the grace of God, by believing and trusting the gospel of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) given to our Apostle Paul by Jesus Christ you are saved and sealed with the holy Spirit of promise till the day of redemption!!! Ephesians 1:13 - King James Version 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Romans 2:16 - King James Version 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Paul's Gospel - 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4). For solid Bible study, please visit ''Truth Time Radio'' - also on youtube - learn the truth and unlearn the lies! Have a blessed day with insight, wisdom and discernment!
We can serve the lord in different ways too. He doesn’t call everybody to the same type of service just what he has gifted us to do. We are not all gifted with the same things. I worked in a store for many years. I considered it my mission to serve God in that place and I was blessed.
What a bond of Sisterhood... It's wonderful that at that age she can make such a wonderful commitment. I just definitely couldn't handle being away from my family.
I consider myself agnostic atheist (kinda) but holy shit ! This video is beautiful! For the people that are saying that she is giving up her life or that it's a waste of time... It literally doesn't matter what you think. For her this is living life. Living life means doing the things you love the most and if she loves and she wants to do that, I don't see anything wrong with it, and neither should you. She is not doing any harm to others around her. That is what happiness and living life is. We can all learn something from her, it is literally never too early to live your life. You should never wait for the right moment to be happy, just do the things you love and that should bring you love and happiness for a lifetime.
Almost everyone can serve the Lord. These Sisters just do it in a focused, more dedicated manner. We are all representatives of Christ if we stop and think about it...all spiritual brothers and sisters, daughters and sons of God. You can pray any time, anywhere not just in a church or chapel like my blood sister believes. God is everywhere-that"s what I believe.💚❤️💚

When my mom was around her 20s, there was a time one of her long time friends who had entered the convent a year before had finally been ordained. The friend invited my mom and her other friends in a spiritual retreat. Sort of introduction to the newly ordained + the annual recruitment. My mom and her friends joined the recruitment because of various reasons. Some felt trying, some felt like it was their calling (like my mom's), while one just doesn't want to be left out of the experience. Out of 7 friends, the one who just doesn't want to be left out was the only person who actually saw it through and became a nun. The calling to this path of life is really God guided. My mom always knew prayer and helping others was her vocation but being ordained wasn't her calling.
I am Protestant but appreciate many things about the Catholic faith. I love this woman's devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. I love what she said about Love having done a crazy thing in incarnating for us, in being crucified for us (and I would add, rising from the dead, ascending to the right hand of the Father, ruling and reigning forever, amen). What we do upon hearing of Jesus' salvific work is simply a response, not part of the deal of eternal life, which is one of the biggest differences between Protestantism and Catholicism in Christianity. Nevertheless, this woman's faith and devotion to the Lord inspires me to live a life of radical devotion and love for our Savior as well. A sweet video.
It’s an honor to be given a peek into the life of a bride of Christ. Thank you for posting. Hopefully this will encourage others who have a calling to the “religious” life but are uncertain.

I had been there from 23 to 34 years old and it was the MOST joyful experience of my life. I simply cannot describe that kind of full joy, happiness, love... thinking of that time even makes me cry... The BEST experiences of my life. THE BEST. I really have no words.

This is at least what i think about it, how i recive it :)
i only feel disgust

Of all the Grotto videos that I have watched thus far, this is my absolute favorite! Just to see all the happiness and joy going on with these women. No they are not sacrificing anything but they are giving their love to Christ. :-)
Thank you for your supportive comment.
Nuns in movies and tv: strict, stuck-up prudes with rulers as weapons
Nuns in real life:
Made me feel a little in love with the convent life
Except in Sister Act XD
When my mom was a child they were just like the movie ones. Good to see a change now
There's the sensational aspect of media, but also I think it depends on the era and the ''branch'' (I don't know how to call it, but there's different groups of christian nuns) the people join.
Evidently you didn't attend Catholic school.
No one cares, so gtfo.
Judith ferris - Thanks for sharing your story. It is nice that you are still in touch with the friends that you made when you were a nun. I am sure it was an important part of your life.

Not all are meant to follow that path. Some of us find ourselves between the two worlds.
You wasted a large chunk of your life, ouch 😂 Glad you wised up.

What made you decide to leave?
It's either your lying or it's not even Christian

AMEN. Jesus loves you too 🙏❤
Same^^, also I'm kinda struggling to get up and go pray right now because I always procrastinate on the things I want to do, but then this video popped in my recommended and the girl is like I try to pull myself up out of bed at 1am to pray, and I'm like ugh OK fine I'll get up now 😆
I'm a christian and I find this repulsive.
Thank you ❤️
Aye, it truly is.
50% of the time. Not most of the time. You're making the average life seem very glum lol
agreed.
Michelle Paul that is a horrible way of looking at it
The aim of this film was to show how happy the nuns are. But I think some would be sad and wished they did not become a nun.
I hope the Lord will lead me there, or wherever I’ll be most united to Him❤
I'm praying for you and your discernment. God will lead you where you need to be.
God bless you!!!
Why does god need prayers at 2.00am though? Especially when so many people around the world actually need help not prayers.

It is mentioned in scripture and sisters of perpetual adoration always have shifts in the chapel for prayer. Some monastic orders have regular hours for prayers with some such as Cistercians starting in the middle of the night and pray the Hours at regular times throughout the day. Not all. Some have reduced it considerably. Others still do, though.
Beverly thacker I like your Mom she had the same percentage as mine- She remembered a couple of abusive nuns- so did U-. my mother said SiS Emelda- screamed at her because Gramps br. her to school early or she would have to walk 5 mills- she showed this to me when I was cold- I am now 60- your mom was right times have changed. Madison Lynn yeah I can't understand why she can't see her family though that part is kindof sad to me
Anita Gomez She will be able to see them later. At this early stage of her training she is learning sacrifice. That is one. But one she wont forever have to give up. She is cloistered and only with other nuns unless in church or in charity. This changes as she progresses. She will have a chance at a college education and she will be given more freedoms (to a point) as she progresses.
Madison Lynn you can have children but you have to wait until theyre 18 before you become a nun
Madison Lynn I
I'm not religious nor will become a nun but I recently discovered that I have a calling to midwifery. In a different way, its like serving God- bringing light into this world. Either way, doing an act of service in whatever form that might be is truly magical. Good for her. 🥰
These women choose to be Brides of Christ. It's a beautiful thing.
Well more than choosing (which they also do) is giving what has being asked
Every Christian is a bride of Jesus. Both male and female.
ITSONLYMEWATCHING The Church is the bride of Christ.
The Bride of Christ according to Scriptures is everyone who is part of the Church. The born again believers. Not some people in a convent somewhere

Thank you.
Thanks for that. People are just too mean
So bloody true and thanks for this.
thank you
So true, some people can be so mean.
Glenn Williams. Is it better if the nuns are, as you say, "young and beautiful"?
Beautiful post, Glen.👌
You're so right to point out how such young, beautiful women (who could go places in the world), chose the "better part" ( JESUS to Martha regarding Mary).
When younger, I couldn't get how handsome young men would choose the Priesthood and so too for those young successful women, in joining the Convent.
That's testimony to the Call from Above.

He didn't provide much grace nor help for my 7 year old cousin when her uncle was raping her. Guess she didn't pray hard enough.

These ladies are my friends! When I saw this video in the side bar i thought, "no way.." but wow, yes-way!
Sister, you have better vision than me. I'm 57 and see what you see clearly. Thank God for you.
Just saying you saw more clearly first!
Sister Fiat,
I first met you almost six years ago at that beautiful youth group, Agape.
I’m not religious but this is so nice. She seems so happy.
A short but sweet and interesting video. The best to you in your new life.
Watching the sisters being so joyful, is beautiful. I love that they're so happy devoting themselves to their faith
God bless everyone who hear this or who are reading this.Have a great day and stay safe.May God protect you through these hard times.
I wanted so much to be a nun when I was 29, but was rejected for whatever reason. I live a happy, single life now supporting self and giving charity to those who really need it.
Success means to live your life your life in order to have more and more money, at every cost
We can all devote our lives entirely to Jesus - nuns or not! Bless these beautiful ladies 🙏🏾
Pagan here, the sisterhood and happiness here is lovely. If it makes these ladies happy and they aren't harming anyone I'm happy for them
God truly gives a calling to his nuns.
Amen!!!
I agree but isn’t it ironic that here we are communicating with these darned devices? 🥴

Couldn't have said it better myself :)
When I first visited a convent at 16, I was enamored and wanted to spend all the time in the chapel. My peers were busy chasing boys. I wish there was a call for vocations at my parish at that time.
I'm a Muslim....schooled my nuns at a young age. I absolutely loved watching this video. They are so wholesome and sweet. Very nice video.
Jesus taught that you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
There are many passages in the Bible that teach the truth about Heaven being a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, not by our own good works. One of the most clear and important passages is from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians:
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Most people think that Heaven is a riddle which can never be solved.
Ephesians 1:13 - King James Version
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Romans 2:16 - King James Version
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Paul's Gospel - 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4).

True hey

Thank you for serving our Lord, I hope for you the best

My mom always knew prayer and helping others was her vocation but being ordained wasn't her calling.

this is so sweet :) i love that you love what youre doing!
Live and let live. God bless!

00:32 - I've experienced this kind of happiness when I used to be on a catechesis group for teenagers, chorus, missionaries, and even a young extraordinary minister of the Sacred Communion. I had been there from 23 to 34 years old and it was the MOST joyful experience of my life. I simply cannot describe that kind of full joy, happiness, love...
thinking of that time even makes me cry... The BEST experiences of my life. THE BEST. I really have no words.
we genuinly wanted to be better christians, we liked to give ourselves: our energy, our time, our patience to everything or everyone. I learned to tolerate, to be patient, I didn't know I had the energy and the determination to give and give and give.. and work and care, to understand, to learn, to teach, etc.
This is for the bravest of the braves. Congratulations

I hope sister fiat is healthy and happy now. This makes me so happy to see, even as an atheist. It’s so hard to find what makes you happy and she looked so happy in this video
I've felt called to religious life for years now but sadly I am unable to complete RCIA due to agoraphobia and an anti-christian household. My hope is that when I die I might get a Christian funeral due to intent to conversion. St. Barbara pray for me 🙏
That's the weak mindedness that's harming your faith. Your allowing demons to take hold of you
To be as happy as she was in doing what she felt she wanted to do, is something that I think we all are trying to achieve in whatever we want to do in our lives!
0:48 oh my goodness, the pure joy on their faces is so beautiful
Is your profile pic Misa Amane from Death Note?
I am not religious but I'm glad this girl is happy. She seems to truly appreciate and enjoy what she's doing. I hope she continues in this happiness the rest of her life.
I wish you the very best of luck on your journey sister. I admire you for following your path and putting everything you have into your commitment. Much respect.
You are doing a beautiful thing. It takes lots of courage and faith.
I'm not religious at all but, this makes me happy to see.
You radiate God's magnificence and pure joy. May you have a blessed and amazing experience and life.
All I know is my Nuns in Catholic grade school were 5 times more strict than my Marine Corps drill instructors and like my Drill Instructors I will never forget my Nuns names...........all 8 of them.
Let me guess - they were all "Sister Mary Joseph", so it was easy to remember ;-)
OMG
Oregon's Lonewolf lol
My school principal in infant school was a nun who ruled with an iron fist. Everyone was terrified of her but she commanded respect and demanded high standards from everyone.
That's because you were their students.
I wish all people could know God the way us Catholics do. I tell others there’s a difference in knowledge of God and being in love with Him. It’s so beautiful there are no earthly words to express how and what He is. God Bless
I'm 23 now. Why was it on my recommendations?!
I was thinking about to join convent. But never searched for anything like this, I swear!
Is it a call?!!
I don't think it is. :) If you can fully love anyone even Jesus or whoever it's a good thing to experience.
No
Daisy Thomas perhaps. God speaks through many different things. Think and pray about it. Search for His call
Ginnybellebeauty ...No. Coincidence does not equal God speaking to you. His sheep know His voice. This is a decision that will affect the rest of your life which you will need to devote much prayer to. This is not a feeling. This is knowing...for certain, that Jesus is calling you into full time service to Him that will come at great cost to you. Pray Hard.
@Jett Philips I used to think this way, but look around you Jett - our men are weak, our women whores - its acceptable today to murder your own unborn child. This world is fallen, we are rotten and so long as you keep your attitude you will not walk closer to the Lord and his light.
I don't understand her, and yet I do. She has chosen a life that I would not have chosen, but she seems so happy so I understand her desire to live happily
To dedicate your life to Jesus is the most amazing thing congratulations ladies and thank you for your sacrifice
I’ve stayed with sisters for a weekend before in a convent. It Changed my perspective on life and I have the upmost respect for young people pursuing religious life.
"love crucified himself for us out of love" ❤️❤️❤️ 2:16 to 2:39 are such beautiful words sister.. May God bless you... Praying for you ❤️❤️❤️
She made the right decision. It's harder to be in the world and serve God Bless them.
