When having a 15 min break between the sessions, can i leave it infalted on the beach with sand on the upwind tip? or is it too bad for the kite? (again only 15m break)

Hi, depends on the wind strength. Above 20-25 knots, the kite can flutter on the sand too much and tangle bridle. But under 20, it's not really à problem. You can also open the deflate zip to make the kite deflating, it won't flutter anymore.

Is it good for light winds? Is it worth to pay for chrono or sonic if I can get the pansh?

for Ultra light winds, Sonic and Chrono have more power/sqm, and will jump a little higher and longer in low end. Kestrel is far more responsive, and bring a better depower, and more stable, more forgivable. Maybe it's a choice between having performance or having fun.
