I've never had lessons or really studied how to play , can't do fast runs and still often get lost on the fretboard ! But each time I play I try to put everything I have in to each note .

Thanks and Good question ! I'd say that the build quality is similar but they are very different . A lot of that is down to the neck radius and the pickups . I prefer the Strat , especially now it's been restored but it's SO heavy at 9lb's .
Funny no one wants him in a band...I bet he has several expensive guitars hangin on his wall next to his Marshall stack ....play rich, look poor, pretend you have nothing and live on the street...great gig !
Hi, Thanks for your comment. I'm afraid you've lost your bet ! I have been in a few bands and was asked recently to join one but I haven't the energy to play gigs and go busking for up to 5 hours at a time to pay the bills . The only guitar hanging on my wall is an old acoustic that I was given that doesn't get played as it needs restoring. I do have my Stratocaster and a Campbell Precix that I bought recently to take travelling as it's light. That's it for guitars. Apart from my busking amps I do own a Peavey classic 30 that hasn't been plugged in for years. I don't live on the street but have just about survived for the last 20 years by busking . Most of my wardrobe comes from Charity shops or Matalan .
