As someone with over 2k hours of Smite watching new players that are already super experienced in LoL is always so interesting, particularly when you just jump in with 0 fear into Conquest while having no clue of what anything does and having a blast anyways. There's something you slightly noticed that I want to talk about: Yeah the gameplay loop in Smite is far less lane-centric than League's, in Smite you are always looking to take the nearby jungle for extra exp whenever possible and each laner gets their own buff (solo = blue, mid = red, support = green, adc = purple, jungler = yellow). Jungle camps in general are way easier and quicker to both kill and respawn, this is why you can do these camps as a laner without even taxing your jungler in most cases. In fact, the jungle role in Smite is far more gank-aggressive because of how quickly you can kill camps. It also helps that their buff (yellow) gives extra movement speed, so they can very literally be anywhere in no time.
The funny thing is that most other MOBAs i tried were all similar to league of legends and i grasped the basics in 2 or 3 matches. Meanwhile im stuck in smite like:" why the f i can't hit my basics!" 😂
Naw green buff is a myth That's an extra back harpy (Seriously tho no support above gold actually touches that buff its a waste of time that could be spent rotating)
@@V2ULTRAKill This is true in early and maybe mid game but once you reach the team fighting stage it is worth picking it up. The bonus hp scales based off total protections up to 390 bonus hp, which is significant for tanks.
Except in the early game it’s sometimes more valuable to begin another item than to you upgrade to t2 per say; or if you’re in fountain as rat, sometimes it’s better to start a new item than to finish your acorn.
@@jarjargod5127 this is not true lol. The stats you get from a second t1 does not make up for the loss of not finishing an item t3. Either delay your back for some more gold, or just back again.
winged blade and Witchblade and sprint beads/amulet are best juke items in the game atm. Coutner building is what made u better than 80% of Smite players. just like juking. too bad ranked scene is a joke just like Smite community moderators. 0 international, console or Arena players at SPL.
Smite is MUCH more damage focused than other MOBAS ...there are like 5 ways to ignore defense as well as health and like 80% of the items in the game give power
Yeah, definitely. I build it on adcs, assassins, and mages. It's legit, especially when you have a super low HP pool. (for all you bad players like keiran, I'm being facetious)
For years I've been demanding an old lady archetype champion from League. I love playing as old ladies in DnD and stuff. Last month I found out Baba Yaga exists here and have decided to switch MOBAs and convinced 2 friends along with me! Been having fun so far.
Baba yaga was actually a highly requested God by the player community for a very long time. Seems as though you aren't alone in the demand for old lady characters haha.
@@jadenm4229 nah I hate going against new players bc I don’t wanna discourage them from continuing playing just because they got matched up with someone experienced. I like watching new players because it’s not often new players join the community and post content. Watching the game grow and watching people learn is cool
"Oh I know what they are, I'm a support main in league!" I died laughing. Watching this def made me nostalgic for Smite. Never understood why people hate so much. The game is fun and looks nice and from a financial perspective, you get worlds more for little and even for just playing.
The playerbase is toxic af, and the matchmaking is pretty bad. Smurf accounts also don’t help. The game also has a lot of balance issues. I love smite, but it’s super understandable when new players don’t get into it.
If you ask me, the game of smite is perfect but matchmaking is pretty bad. People don't dodge like in league, but that's because there are so few players in the first place.
@@TekiShairu as was mentioned, league and smite have really toxic communities. It's always seemed to me the higher in rank you climb the less toxicity you have to deal with. In higher rank ppl are less likely to leave the game or hard int. Verbal toxicity is easy enough to deal with. I usually don't even mute I just ignore it. The worse toxicity you'll find in a game is in LoL silver imho. Just watch Rav play. And for most people starting out, that's about where they will end up, starting in bronze then into silver as they learn the game and what they learn is the players are toxic af... If you are gold + you probably find it bearable or even rare, but new players will see it as the normal state of the game.
“Damage camp here.” Shoulder checks ra out of the way “Yay I got it.” Lmao glad you enjoyed your first game. I didn’t have the guts to just jump in like this but figuring it out on the fly does seem like fun.
I strictly play assault for that exact reason, I have a little more than half the gods unlocked and just jumping in to new gods is both awesome and just the worst
@@frenzyyg8337 You don't learn the basics best in the slowest game mode. You don't really learn anything there either, honestly. Itemization, lanes, rotations, buffs and all that should either be explored in practice mode or through youtube videos. Going in blind will cause suffering for your teammates
As an experience player whit 8 years behind me playing SMITE is so good to see new players, it reminded of when I started playing and o didn't know wtf I was doing when I too jump into conquest head first l. Nice video I like it a lot it was funny seeing the "mistakes" in the build and buff picking but it's ok its the first game after all
Yeah dude, I thought it was funny in the beginning, when he was like, oh you know exactly when your going to play, then more time is needed to find you a match lmao.
Haven't finished the video yet, so unsure if you're aware. But Smite has an All Gods bundle that you buy once and unlock all current and future gods. Good deal if you plan on playing long term.
@@HarbingerDOOM That works for us common folk. But when you're a content creator, buy the shortcut, claim it as a business expense, and make the money back in ad revenue ;)
@@NobodyXaldyn Personally I think it's a lost opportunity to do a weekly compilation of playing through the gods in order to unlock a new god. You could call it the road to (enter god name here).
I actually used so much favor and gems that if I bought the god pass I’d be able to get SOOOO many skins lol I’d get back at least 8000 gems and like 90,000 favor
It’s a very fun game to play but the community can be very toxic. I really recommend playing it with friends or just avoiding talking with players when getting into the game as it can make you not want to play the game. It’s a very fun game once you get the hang of it
@@myershayne8471 though thats practically the same problem as with the LoL community. But Smite really is a welcome distraction ^^ especially the arena/aram mode for new players
@@OshaSnivy yes that’s very true. Too many salty basement dwellers that don’t appreciate experimentation in games and NEED to win every game. It’s unfortunate but true
Nice job man, you learned very quickly. This was super fun to watch as I played Paragon a bunch back in 2017 and then since the pandemic started I've played literally thousands of hours of this. It's a fun game especially with friends
Lol the game couldn't find you a match... It was like, man you sure you want to go into conquest level 1 for your first game? We gotta find a team that won't rage quit on him...
Smite player with about 2.5k hours here. I really heartily enjoyed watching this video. It was a strange mixture of my current understanding of the game and fresh new eyes playing for the first time. Certainly you are new to Smite, as I'd be new to LoL, but I loved watching you take your background and apply it to Smite, even if core gameplay is inherently different. The grand majority of your assumptions about the game and how it functions were correct as well. I truly hope to see more stuff like this, if you choose to make it.
I been playing smite nearly everyday since the end of season 1. So nearly 8 years, I'm glad you're trying smite. You'll love the game trust me it's so fun and the outplay is insane
The outplay is insane. A friend of mine has multiple times after dodging basic attacks for like 10 seconds straight said "This is why I like Smite, YOU CAN'T DO THAT IN LEAGUE" lol
Some tips: You can only have one buff at a time in this game. As adc, you usually start at red with the mid laner, let them take it and go take your purple with your support. You don't need to last hit minions to get gold, I think it gives a bit extra gold but it's better to just clear the whole wave as fast as you can so you can start either focusing the enemies or take XP side buffs. Usually it's yellow buff for the jungler, blue for solo, red for mid, purple for adc and green for support. The little free ward you had on your G is only temporary, you can change it for a better active at level 12. You can buy better wards for 50 gold each and buy a control ward for 120 in the consumables part of the store. There are no boots in Smite anymore, we had them until like, a month ago or so, but they were removed because it was a boring buy, now we just get extra movement speed with levels until level 7.
please upload more of this! i really hope you enjoy smite!! as a smite player, it makes me so happy to see more people play, have a new subscriber and enjoy the game! :)
Bro what. He probably picked up attacking the tower and enemies but that’s about it. He can’t even build properly and gets another item before finishing bloodforge which is the worst item to get for a first item. Then he goes asi which isn’t bad and neither is exe but those items are kind of out shadowed. Not to mention he think this game has LOL aiming like having no need to aim you shots and because of that he’s missing. He also thoughts Danzas ult went through walls but he did realize it couldn’t on the first try. Then he can’t even look at the map or pay attention to vgs. Makes me wonder how good he is at league if he never looks at the map
@@sweetbabyrayso5262 you cant judge him based on almost anything you said here... Build is irrelevant because everyone is equally bad when u start. He does not think its lol aim he wonders if it is and test it and figures out it isnt... The only thing you CAN ACTUALLY BLAME HIM ON is not reading his abilities properly.
@@snowman9631 ok fine maybe the aiming was too critical. But abilities tho? I just can’t see how he could not read the abilities like it’s the same game or something. It just boiled my blood or than this 100 degree weather
Thank you for this video! I’m living through your experience of learning how to play this game as I would love to go back in time, and play this game over for the first time again.
@@jacksongarner5501 exactly like for some games it's so easy to rack up those numbers.. if the old sims 3 hour tracking had been accurate on the community site i would probably also have an extreme amount of time listed
As someone with about 1.5 k hrs in smite, that was highly enjoyable. Can tell you are a good lol player. Had good positional awareness. All the lifesteal + green was amusing though. Very good first game. 20 kills on your first match is definitely not too shabby
This was so fun to watch! Watching/playing with new members and seeing them have fun is the most exciting thing ever, reminds me of when I first started and fell in love with the game. I’m for sure gonna watch more of your smite stuff!
just wanted to throw out some useful information, there is a mode in the training/practice tab that is called Jungle Practice! it lets you pick any god to test them out, gives you enough money to buy any item, has practice bots, all sorts of cool stuff that could help the learning process! also in the god select screen, if you click on the god portrait on your teams side of the lobby you can see the lore/abilites/etc. of the gods your team has. the gold fury has 3 different forms, all doing different things! those big scorpions upgrade the buffs of the team that kills them, and then they spawn on the other teams side of the map. just some small tips i saw throughout the video that could probably use some more explanation. welcome to the battleground of the gods!
Loved watching you play this game. I have only been playing LOL for about 1.5 yrs and this reminded me of what it was like trying to understand the game and what was going on.
Smite is so fun I’ll try to explain danza a little more: Passive : extra gold basically 1st ability: Gold bags that explode, ricochet, and intoxicate. intoxicated screws with the enemy’s controls 2nd ability: he heals with the Sake and throws it out which taunts enemies who stand in it to long and can be destroyed 3rd ability: he creates an overgrowth that gives attack speed. leaving the field creates a sue-do stealth where the enemies can’t tell which leaf you are Ultimate: Fire a stunning rocket or click the button again to become the rocket
I love seeing how you see Smite and their gods. Though I'd suggest getting to know all the gods/champions before comparing them to LoL champions, just viewing the skins may make you mistake who the gods are similar to in League.
@@thunderNTOC I was more just saying that basing which Smite God is similar to their LoL Fhampion counter part is easier to do with their kits rather than their skins. There are plenty of overlapping abilities between the two MOBAs. But the skins can easily just look similar to one Champion while the God's kit is more like a different one.
that wait for conquest is part of the reason it's played so little(relative to the other game modes) 3 minutes looking for a game, that then takes upwards of an hour if both teams know how to play. Arena is 60 seconds, and on a bad game, takes 22 minutes tops, so you get more games, faster, without all the selecting roles. Also the meta is different, and most gods are viable, although the mode favors gods with CC, an escape, and a CC immune alt.
LoL is sooo easy to play coming off smite. It takes like no skill to pop actives and hit abilities or juke in LoL. I am in the same boat as you ive played smite for 7 years and played LoL but don’t like it it is soooo boring to me
This is the best video I’ve seen in awhile!! Coming from a smite player of 7 years.. you did good with hitting autos!! How that build work is hilarious 😂!! If you want someone to help teach you the game. I’ll group up with you
Lore (some tips afterwards): Danzaborou is a legendary tanuki. Tanukis are a kind of racoon-like rodents endemic to Japan and they are believed to be magical tricksters. Danzaborou in particular is a traveling con- I mean, salesman. Who's famous for his sake and paying you with illusory money which turns out to be just leafs. Also a few tips: You don't build many tier 1 and 2 items, it is really inefficient. You should just wait to finish one item. Also, half of your build was lifesteal items, so that's why you healed so much. You should have gone for 1 of those and gotten more aa speed, pen and either crit or in hand effects. Both your autos and your abilities scale from the same stat, power, so you should get at least one big power item. You were using the ulti wrong, you can press 4 again while doing the animation to toggle riding the rocket yourself. This allows you to go around corners and reposition. More often that not, you can pretend it's Kled ult.
Ohh man, I forgot how depth perception-reliant this game can be. I can’t even fathom how I played Scylla multiple times (and hit her ult) during the short while I played Smite years ago lol
Yeah arena isn't the main game mode, it's just used in the tutorial and recommended for beginners because it's more action packed and fast, so you can learn the game mechanics faster before getting into conquest, which is the normal 3 lanes and jungle map, the mode the game is balanced around.
A LOT of people play Arena and ignore conquest. Just cause Hi-rez ignores it in esports doesn't mean it's not a mode people love. I avoid conquest and all the crap in there like covid.
@@MarkoArillius you do you, I only played Joust when I started, but Conquest is still the mode the game is balanced around. Some gods like Nox, Ah Puch, He bo, that are kind of weak in conquest are much stronger in other modes. Also, conquest has a bit more depth, that I find more interesting compared to the other modes these days
@@LeoHikari did you really just say he bo is weak in conquest? On the no boots patch? Im not sure what rock youve been living under but hes A+ tier in conquest rn
@@V2ULTRAKill A+ is slighly above average, He Bo is way stronger than that in joust and arena, since his biggest weakeness is not really having an escape other than his carpet and ult and in those modes not having a escape isn't that big of a deal. He is weaker in conquest if compared with other modes where a lot of people consider him op. Nox is a way better example tho.
Actually pretty good for your first time. I’m a smite player and really enjoyed watching you play. I’ll definitely check out your other content. Keep up the awesome work!
As someone who's played smite before. Holding down and targeted clicking are all very important things to take note of. Auto attacking reduces your movement speed, so in clutch scenarios you're only doing this because they are on top of you and you know every shot will hit. Targeted clicking is for boxing matches where you have to lead your shots as the enemy will juke your autos. And also it allows you to kite better as you get to strafe easier. And when you have enough attack speed and know your god well enough you can spam click with their attack speed. Which is still better than holding down LMB.
i know i look like this if i'd go to LOL.. i actually tried it a while back.. didn't have any fun however because the only 3 matches i played were all me struggling with the controls and being unable to have any fun or learn anything about the game at my own pace because every single game i had several smurfs on the enemy team.. i ended up uninstalling immideately because it felt like i just wasn't going to get better if anything i can be put up against are smurfs
For your firsr game, you played really well. In my sight, one of the best first games i have ever seen in terms of how fast you picked up specific things
Support mains unite under the banner of the protections!! XD By the way, that was actually really fun to just watch you meme out and enjoy yourself. You go man! Gaming is about havin' fun so you've got a hella good attitude for this imo
If you ever do revisit Smite! Remember on Danz ult, if you repress 4, you'll turn into the rocket and you can control it! It was awesome seeing someone from LoL play smite, I did the same thing with a few of my friends who played LoL for a long time. You definitely got a sub from me!!

It's really interesting watching a new smite player when you play the game for 7 years now. Honestly I gotta say, there is very little info given in the game for new players, you kinda need someone to instruct you or just find out everything by yourself but that takes ages. I'd gladly help any new player if I could, making the game more fun for everyone
Well it's recommended to play through all the tutorials and then move into ai matches. However, it seems as tho Titan Forge doesn't promote those game modes very well. A few of those, and I feel like he would be set and ready for how items and gods work. Only issue would be the terrible bot ai giving false expectations.
Hey bizzle im new to this channel and i must say im suprised how well u adepted to the game haha. Most people would flame ur build etc but i play this game for almost 5 years now and i think u did realy well. The Bulwark of hope item saved ur life a few times and the life steal as well. But if u intend to play more do know that your enemy and teammates probaly get more toxic along the way cause everyone thinks they are a god even tho they make mistakes over and over and start to blame u for no reason.
Having almost 2k hours in smite and probably like 15 hours in League, I love seeing these kinds of videos! He used Neiths ult and said "It's like Ashe arrow" I've thought this many times lol. Though Ashe and Neith are opposites in a couple ways, Ashe ult is a skill shot while basic attacks are not. Neiths ult locks on where in Smite basic attacks are skill shots. These kinds of videos are so interesting to me, I honestly wish I could have a better understanding of what tf was going on when I would play League so I could play it more, every time more than a few people are fighting I'm just sitting there like "WTF is happening?" where in Smite I can tell what's happening. There are other things I find interesting like champions that are very similar, have similar abilities, or just look similar to Smite Gods. Shaco and Loki are so similar it's incredible. Nasus looks just like Anubis, Renekton looks just like Sobek, both games have Wukong. I forget which champion it is but their ult hits all the enemies just like Nu Wa ultimate. I believe his name is Tryndamir or something similar where his ult makes you immune to death, which I saw a Smite video where a player saw a League video of them making a build to solo towers with the immunity, then he played Kali (Ultimate immunes from death) to do the same thing. I also find it hilarious when a League player plays Smite and gets "Blink" and refers to it as "Flash". I'm only 4 minutes into this video so if I have more to say I'll definitely edit this. It is interesting that Smite is doing collabs with tv shows. The closest thing I remember League doing is the KDA collab. "Oh god it's Teemo" LMAO Watching the first game this is incredible. The second camp you killed dropped a buff for you to pick up by walking over it, in the chat your support was telling you to pick it up, it's also kinda funny you thought he was your jungler. Seeing a Nu Wa as the enemy support is cracking me up so much. She's 100% a mage (Mid laner) What you placed with G was a ward. In League I think they're called Spells? the things you can pick like Smite and Flash. In Smite they're relics. at the start of a match you can select one for free, and the other is a free ward that doesn't last as long as normal wards, and it has a cooldown. When you reach level 12 you can get another relic to replace your ward. Any relic can be upgraded at any time for 500 gold. To explain a few: Purification beads, cleanses you of Crowd Control and Immunes you for a couple seconds, Aegis makes you immune to damage for about 1 to 1.5 seconds. Blink is basically Flash but you can only use it when you've been out of combat for a couple seconds. Heavenly Wings you and allies around you become immune to slows and gain increased movement speed for like 5 seconds. Meditation puts out 5 bursts of Health and Mana healing. Your F was Aegis. Oof the Fafnir (Your support) is getting mad at you it's making me cringe because he doesn't know this is your first game. LMAO you picked up the support buff, I'm dying. Man it would've been so satisfying for a player to be in a call with you to explain everything. The thing where you said you pressed all your buttons and couldn't get out, was Hades Ultimate, be becomes CC immune and gains protections while doing a lot of damage and pulling everyone in. the only way you could have gotten out would be to press 4 to activate your ultimate, then press it again to get in it and look away from him to drive out. The Gold Fury is more of Dragon than it is Baron. The Fire Giant is the Smite version of Baron Gnasher. 37:19 no you didn't pop it too early, Hades Ultimate lasts longer and you were also getting hit by Artemis (Who is a hunter, the ADC role which I believe in League are named Marksmen?) The voices you hear like the "Be careful in the jungle" is something I believe is unique to Smite. when you press "V" you can put in keys in orders to say stuff in game. "VCJ" be careful in the jungle. "VA1" "VA 2" and "VA 3" being "Attack Left lane" "Attack Middle lane" and "Attack Right lane" respectively. there are also less serious ones like "VEL" making your character laugh. "VET" is making your character say a Taunt. "VEJ" they tell a joke. And some like "VXD" being dance, but not all gods have dances and the emotes like Dancing, Waving, and Clapping have to be purchased or unlocked from a chest. Physical Protections is Smites version of armor, where Magical protections is Magic Resist. The Phoenix is indeed like the Inhibitors from League, though in Smite the fight back! (Though I will say, towers in Smite do so little that sometimes it feels like Minions do more. which is something I wish Titan Forge would copy from League is that their towers ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING) Yes in Smite the Nexus is the Titan, it too fights back. It will get debuffed for every tower and Phoenix you take down. Just finished the video. Man that was a roller coaster! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I feel like once you learn everything you will enjoy it even more. under the "Play" button there's a "Gods" button, you can look at each god, their class, and their abilities. For a quick run through I'll go over the Conquest roles, though Myself I mostly only play Joust (3v3 with 1 lane and buffs) In Conquest there is not Bottom or Top lanes, they are known as Solo and Duo lanes. Solo being the equivalent to Top, mostly played by the class of "Warrior" (Though recently people have been using Mages and Guardians because of some meta shifts) Warriors are tanky melee physical gods, normally being a jack of all trades. Players in the solo lane regardless of class normally build tanky as to be able to survive burst gods like mages and take them down. The Duo Lane which you played this game is for the ADC and for awhile the Support. Mostly being played by hunters, a Ranged Physical class (ADC) and the support usually being a Guardian class, Guardians being Tanky Melee Magical gods. The support helps the ADC during the beginning in their weakest stage trying to get an advantage for them, at some point (When I play support I normally leave when my adc gets to level 5) the Support will go around helping the other players leaving the ADC to get farm by them self so they get more. The ADC builds for sustained damage, the best candidates to take down the Solo laner as they can keep piling into them until they die. The support is usually the one who initiates the battles, commonly with an AOE crowd control ability, also there to peel enemies off of your carries and support through healing abilities, supportive items, or body blocking abilities and basic attacks. The middle lane, Mostly played by the Mage class, Mages being ranged Magic gods. They usually build for burst damage so they can take out the ADC quickly before they have a chance to kill the mage. Though there are several mages better suited for the ADC role, such as Chronos, Freya, and Olorun. Lastly the jungle, the class I know the least about. They will go through the jungle dropping buffs for the other players and trying to get ahead to gank the enemies putting that lane ahead. They're most commonly played by the Assassin role, Assassins will normally try to target a key enemy, get in, kill them, and get out. The jungle role is definitely not only assassins though, it can honestly be played by any of the 5 roles, though it's quite rare to see a Hunter as the jungler. Well I hope if you did read this absolute wall of text that it helped you in some way. I'm sure I've missed a lot and possible gave some incorrect information so for further help there are several TH-cam channels to help. If you want some suggestions I'll gladly give them, though I'm not just going to post them now as to not advertise. Have fun with your future Moba adventures! PS, as @UC8qC_m_IPa0OpQmLSC_jC0Q also said, you asked about boots. They've been in the game since alpha like 9 years ago. like a month ago they removed them, giving you the speed increase you used to get from them over your first 7 levels
from someone who has been playing smite since it came out and is grandmaster, the highest rank you can be in this game, i actually enjoyed this video a lot haha ive played LoL a decent bit as well and watch a lot of it and its cool seeing a player from there enjoy this game :) i wish more LoL players would give it a shot
Just subscribed because of this video. Would be interested in seeing you play some more Smite, im a Smite player who is also looking into getting into LoL eventually once i have a PC. Good video bro
Can we take a minute to appreciate the absolute Chad this Faf is for trying so hard with a new ADC. Played on role and VGSed Side note: I love the antithesis between your game knowledge and aiming ability. Literally mercing people while wandering aimlessly around the map.
@bizzleberry 3 quick tips from former gm player: 1. get boots early second item is the latest you wanna finsih them most builds even go boots first they are omega value in smite 2. always finish items, smite is designed that the upgrades esprcially tier 3 have the biggest power/gold 3. farming and sharing jgl between waves is rlly rlly important, this game rlly thirves on being on the move at all times
You should try playing arena and joust(3x3) you don't need to know much about game mechanics like rotations and allows you to make more mistakes and learn about the characters, especially arena since its all about the pvp and the compositions are much more flexible there(as long as you have a tank your team can go anything like 4 mages and have a fair chance to win depending on the enemy). I also leave some recomensations for starter gods: Nu wa and poseidon for mages Neith and artemis for hunter Ymir and Sobek for guardians Bastet and Nemesis for assassins Hercules and Chaac for warriors Hope you enjoy the game
Tbh this would be a great video for hi-rez to watch and improve the player experience. He understood the purpose of the support camp and didn't steal the buff, but walked right by void camp because: What is a "void" camp? It looks strong, perhaps I'm supposed to come back for it later?
Right I’m a long term smite player and this game is really complicated for new guys it’s crazy that I actually got hooked with all the shit going on at once
I haven't finished the video but I have some tips for ya. Be aware of the map, pings and vgs. Communicating with your team is important. As for items finish one at a time, certain items have power spikes that matter more at different stages of the game, this applies to all roles.
Idk about LoL but in smite Farm>Kills, Finish an item before buying a new one, Wards are how you protect your ADC, and there are no set rules on what character type can play which role. You'll see some very interesting supports and solo laners in smite. From what I know the lack of structured role picks is different compared to LoL and Dota
Oh my god I would be having a stroke if our ADC took all the wrong buffs. I’m dying 😂🤣 Really though not bad at all for a first game. I love smite (6 seasons played) and it’s nice to see new players coming in. The build still ended him up with a crapload of power, life steal and some attack speed, and great uses of aegis.
After 30 minutes the fire giant is enhanced. (Called EFG) you dont need a minion wave to get rid of back door protections on phoenixes. Just follow your tank so he can soak up the damage and then basic the phoenix down. You didnt do bad for your first ever game. It was pretty entertaining to watch. I must admit you did better as a first te danza than i did as a first time echo in LoL
some skin themes or characters of LoL were taken from mith and archetypes, smite take deities, miths and legends that's why some character are similars but they're opposites in both abilities and personality, you'll get sorprised to see that
As someone with over 2k hours of Smite watching new players that are already super experienced in LoL is always so interesting, particularly when you just jump in with 0 fear into Conquest while having no clue of what anything does and having a blast anyways.
There's something you slightly noticed that I want to talk about:
Yeah the gameplay loop in Smite is far less lane-centric than League's, in Smite you are always looking to take the nearby jungle for extra exp whenever possible and each laner gets their own buff (solo = blue, mid = red, support = green, adc = purple, jungler = yellow).
"The jungle role is far more gank agressive" unless there is a fking bakasura just eating away the whole jungle until late game

"Gods, of course they're gods."
Yeahh I miss the times when that was supposed to be the premise.
i used to play so much SMITE, it was the reason i got in to league finally.
Guess Smite was harder to you hahaha.
Smite is so fun I’ll try to explain danza a little more:
Passive : extra gold basically
1st ability: Gold bags that explode, ricochet, and intoxicate. intoxicated screws with the enemy’s controls
2nd ability: he heals with the Sake and throws it out which taunts enemies who stand in it to long and can be destroyed
3rd ability: he creates an overgrowth that gives attack speed. leaving the field creates a sue-do stealth where the enemies can’t tell which leaf you are
Ultimate: Fire a stunning rocket or click the button again to become the rocket
I love seeing how you see Smite and their gods. Though I'd suggest getting to know all the gods/champions before comparing them to LoL champions, just viewing the skins may make you mistake who the gods are similar to in League.
Let's be honest tho, horus kit is a bootleg. That most I'll admit, the rest is debatable.
@@ECSDaemon oh most definitely, it does make it somewhat easier to know how a kit is close to and use that play style.
that wait for conquest is part of the reason it's played so little(relative to the other game modes)
3 minutes looking for a game, that then takes upwards of an hour if both teams know how to play.
Arena is 60 seconds, and on a bad game, takes 22 minutes tops, so you get more games, faster, without all the selecting roles.
Also the meta is different, and most gods are viable, although the mode favors gods with CC, an escape, and a CC immune alt.
damn this feels great to watch coming from a long time smite supp main who started leaque a month ago my first games were full of confusion aswell :)
LoL is sooo easy to play coming off smite. It takes like no skill to pop actives and hit abilities or juke in LoL. I am in the same boat as you ive played smite for 7 years and played LoL but don’t like it it is soooo boring to me
As a supp main Lol puts me to sleep when it comes to gameplay and visuals
Damn dude you're definitely the best new player I've ever seen. Nice job!
Also a few tips:
You don't build many tier 1 and 2 items, it is really inefficient.
I recommend going on Practice mode to test out gods and items. Really good way to familiarize yourself
Ohh man, I forgot how depth perception-reliant this game can be. I can’t even fathom how I played Scylla multiple times (and hit her ult) during the short while I played Smite years ago lol
Wow, back in the day it took me like a month to go from the tutorial to conquest, this madlad took 15 minutes :P
Interesting to see your perspective on Smite being a long-time LoL player. Definitely been showing interest lately to try out the game

Well it's recommended to play through all the tutorials and then move into ai matches. However, it seems as tho Titan Forge doesn't promote those game modes very well.
"Oh god it's Teemo" LMAO
Watching the first game this is incredible. The second camp you killed dropped a buff for you to pick up by walking over it, in the chat your support was telling you to pick it up, it's also kinda funny you thought he was your jungler.
Seeing a Nu Wa as the enemy support is cracking me up so much. She's 100% a mage (Mid laner)
What you placed with G was a ward.
37:19 no you didn't pop it too early, Hades Ultimate lasts longer and you were also getting hit by Artemis (Who is a hunter, the ADC role which I believe in League are named Marksmen?)
The voices you hear like the "Be careful in the jungle" is something I believe is unique to Smite. when you press "V" you can put in keys in orders to say stuff in game.
(Though I will say, towers in Smite do so little that sometimes it feels like Minions do more. which is something I wish Titan Forge would copy from League is that their towers ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING)
Yes in Smite the Nexus is the Titan, it too fights back.
Playing with a more experienced friend makes smite really easy to learn as its rather straightfoward in basics
3 lifesteal items was a pleasure to see, makes me wanna so that
Can we take a minute to appreciate the absolute Chad this Faf is for trying so hard with a new ADC. Played on role and VGSed
Side note: I love the antithesis between your game knowledge and aiming ability. Literally mercing people while wandering aimlessly around the map.
@bizzleberry 3 quick tips from former gm player:
1. get boots early second item is the latest you wanna finsih them most builds even go boots first they are omega value in smite
2. always finish items, smite is designed that the upgrades esprcially tier 3 have the biggest power/gold
3. farming and sharing jgl between waves is rlly rlly important, this game rlly thirves on being on the move at all times
This is really funny because right now almost all of these tips are kinda obsolete
Boots dont exist anymore
Kek that's what happens when you dont play this season everything changes, when the fire nation attacks
I also leave some recomensations for starter gods:
Nu wa and poseidon for mages
Neith and artemis for hunter
Ymir and Sobek for guardians
Bastet and Nemesis for assassins
Hercules and Chaac for warriors
Hope you enjoy the game
I’m dying 😂🤣
Really though not bad at all for a first game. I love smite (6 seasons played) and it’s nice to see new players coming in.
The build still ended him up with a crapload of power, life steal and some attack speed, and great uses of aegis.
Hey, nice to see someone branching out into smite! Always great to see people at least give it a whirl.
Just saw this ive been playing smite for years the reaction to danza made me laugh for a minute
This is so funny😂. I can tell you know your way around any moba but it’s funny to slowly see you learn a game I know so well
Just a reminder, if you press the ult button twice on danzaburou , you can ride the rocket into an enemy.
38:41 hahahaha you accidentally trolled that guy so hard, literally stole his buff right in front of him
After 30 minutes the fire giant is enhanced.
