    It must be awesome to have a hydraulic winch? Noticing your movements are just a continues smooth flow. If you don't have a hydraulic winch. Then your the absolute best bed hand I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Memories!!!

    Great video. I had no idea that there was that much stuff to move on one job site.

      This was only 60% of the work. The rig move company did all the big stuff. The inner bits and shacks. A few rentals here for sure

    Great video! Very tight lease would be frustrating for sure and it didnt take long for the weather to go to shit.

      that weather is typical. its rare i get to go out without some bull weather, the tight lease is just another challenge

      i try to drift everything i drive. late one time in the bigger bed the 400 we had at cypris, i was late for a rig skid and traveling on a road i didnt know when over a crest after a long strait there was a curve, the auto with the jakes on i was like oh shit but i gave it my best and when it shifted down under jakes it kicked the ass out and steered me right perfect for the corner that had a slight bank to it. it was perfection and if the camera crew i dont have was just on the inside of that corner to catch that clip, swamper woke right at this moment too and said thats some driving right there

    Lots of guys working in that one location. You are just a small piece of the giant puzzle. Is there someone who coordinates all the moves. I’m just amazed at all that’s going on. Is this the beginning or the end of drilling? Keep safety the priority. Lots of hands and lots to watch for. Keep the videos coming.

    • @TimelapseTruckerRTOT
      @TimelapseTruckerRTOT  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      yeah a truck push that does know most of whats going on. i just pick up and put down. on a full rig move it can be very busy

    I miss the ballet of the trucks on a crowded rig move conducted by the truck push.

    Always wondered why the other bed truck was refered to as a SOW, whats the difference?
    Another killer video as always! 👌

      400 inch wheelbase is considered a sow, this is 360 inch, commonly referred to as a pole truck, this truck may look big but its almost small in comparison, well this one is micro, its not that beefy.

    Jerrold wich you prefer . Spotting all day Or long haul

    • @TimelapseTruckerRTOT
      @TimelapseTruckerRTOT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      anything off road is preferred, but i do love to get out and stretch the legs and go to BC. i dont consider it long haul if its only a few days in the truck. 60% off road 40% highway, too much of one thing gets boring

    Sorry for your knees, I think you always gonna need a sleeper cab or extended daycab. There is a lot of stuff in the little oilfield

      i over exserted it one time working way to many hours, never been the same since, could be from multiple honda trike crashes, growing up 80s child

    Jarred I was wondering can you haul a trailer with the pole truck or no

    • @TimelapseTruckerRTOT
      @TimelapseTruckerRTOT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, all the beds have flip out 5th wheels. takes a custom trailer usually, out pole truck is low but still need a 3 position scissor neck, i could but should not pull my red trailer behind a bed. its only a 2 position neck, most of tandem tandems are pretty heavy and can only carry weight on the rear of the trailer, very little weight transfer to truck

    • @TimelapseTruckerRTOT
      @TimelapseTruckerRTOT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no. that would be bad, does happen, broke a sling once with a big p tank i was trying to move with my tandem t bed, but it was dragging on the ground so nothing really happened

    If you do long haul you paid per hr or per km

    • @TimelapseTruckerRTOT
      @TimelapseTruckerRTOT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i hear both, but no paid waiting time, a lot of can to usa i think are by the km or mile, your guys that stay in one province are more likely to get by the hour
