  • Jackson Hurley has been balancing academics and sports throughout his educational career so far. He says his own mental health challenges helped inspire conversations with his teammates and a fundraiser. As a goalie with the Dartmouth Steele Subarus, he has started “Subz for Mental Health”. He donated fifty cents for each save he made, matching sponsor funds, to Hockey Nova Scotia’s Mental Health Project. And the Charles P. Allen grad was recently awarded a TD Scholarship for Community Leadership where he will receive up to $70,000 for tuition and living expenses as he moves on to University in the fall.
