Good luck with that, D'Jeeco my friend. You'd have an easier time climbing out of the enclosure than getting a morsel of food from Iriki lol. If it were Tayari, he'd just take it like he usually does.

The amount of physical contact between the adults is remarkable. Clever Tayari is trying to please D’Jeeco, so she is the alpha female.
Who say She is the alpha female? One thing is like she wants attention and is a stalker is something else but Alpha female it’s not true.

@@Mbhjjjkghh The female with the youngest baby would normally be the highest ranking female in a group. But Tayari is much more concerned with her position in the group than Iriki is. This is how I watched the group. Tayari ‘s mother Gyasi is much younger than Iriki’s mother Mandji. Gyasi always was the clown in the Apenheul group and did seek more attention of the silverback Jambo in that time. Jambo has moved to another Zoo a couple of years ago. Tayari wants access to the best food, so she pleases D’Jeeco.

@@lemardyc Gorillas like to tease each other, testing who is more dominant. And a female in heat will do everything to get the silverbacks attention. Standing real close to him while staring in his eyes. Normally eye contact is seen as a sign of aggression, a sign that you want to test who is strongest.
Tayari is just like her mother Gyasi, a clown! I love observing her.
