This has been the only clear explanation of fishing rods I've seen. Thank you. To clarify, would it be correct to say. Power is how much the rod actively bends under weight to absorb the energy? Stiffness/modulus is the rating of how much weight the rod can take before actively bending?

Power is how resistant to bending the rod is by weight applied, while modulus is the stiffness factor of the actual rod material.
