It’s a lifestyle I had hoped to duplicate with my husband; sadly I endured a Hemorrhagic Stroke, and he left me to pursue a “different” life with non-Christian women (while we were still married)…Never be “unequally yoked” folks! I am about 90% healed and will be writing a book about my recovery from Hemiparesis, next with all the scripture that got me to my level of current Blessings! I am grateful for all God’s Blessings and Grace in my life, and this dear family is a humble representation of God’s earthly ministers. Thank You Arms Family!

Always a good feeling when the garden looks good!
When I awoke from bleeding out spent 9 days in the ICU at the hospital in my area but I have factor 8 disease where it’s hard to stop a bleed well they transferred me to a hospital in Virginia from Maryland and I was still unconscious. So I was unconscious for a month and a half and when I woke up I lost a lot of my memories but one memory I had was Arms Family Homestead. Thank you for what you do for my life. I lost so much blood my brain can’t remember a lot but I remembered you🥰🙏🏽

What I appreciate most is that you and your family are good, down-to-earth family people and you share your life experiences with those who care to listen and learn. Great post. Just like the day to day variety of homestead life. Nothing crazy. Just every day gardening, fixing things, feeding the livestock, cooking ( I like making poppers sometimes with small sweet peppers), vacations, fishing, whatever. Nice to have a mix. I am now 84 years old. Watching your channel brings back so many beautiful memories of my childhood. My great grand parents came to Florida from Georgia in the early 1900 years and purchased approximately 500 acres of farmland. The land included 3 lovely creeks where we swam and wonderful wooded acreage and and open fields where I rode my horse . I helped my mother raise chickens and garden as her effort toward WWII. Three generations of my family lived close by on parts of the farm. Sadly none of the younger generations took up farming. However, at this time, 5 generations have lived, at some point in time, on the land Grandpa first owned. I hope your family can and will stay on the land.

We found your channel 2 years ago on January 6th, 2019. And I can remember that exact day because we were in the NICU with our youngest boy and trying to escape our situation just a little. That was the longest time in my life it seems and your channel helped us with that so much. When you had that meetup at Leon’s, we went just to meet y’all. Our older son actually won Dutch’s quail. But you always seem so human and so real on your channel and it is why we have stuck around. You are the reason we have this little channel and we so appreciate you and the work you put in to this. Bless your family. Enjoy the journey your on. You bless so many lives with your platform and we can’t wait to see what all God has in store!

I see you, your family and other homesteading /ranching channels as long distance mentors for me, gardening and my goat herd. We may have only one life, but each chapter can be very different. I went from teaching science to being a gardener to trying to raise goats. I appreciate the knowledge and expertise that your family shares with us and it allows me to change my life, even at the ripe old age of 65! Peace and happiness to you.
