  • @mikefisher8531
    @mikefisher8531 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Forgive my ignorance, but I'm very new to all of this. Once you've set it all up, how do you focus? Are you just looking at the computer screen as you turn your focuser adjustment?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! We usually turn on the camera and look to the screen to focus. The moon's craters or bright planets such as saturn, jupiter are the best options to make a good focus

      Hi, when I bought it, it came with the 1.25 inch adapter, an USB cable, a st4 cable and a CD to intall the capture software. I think all the cameras will come with a set like this. Take a look at amazon.com, for example, they show all the items that come with the camera.

    Temos os mesmos equipamentos inclusive até o mesmo telescópio..a câmera peguei esses dias..mas não consigo configurar a camera no telescópio.. só consigo ver imagem usando a câmera fora do telescópio..quando retiro a lente panorâmica da câmera e uso só o adaptador 1.25 no telescópio não tenho imagem nenhuma..o que pode ser?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Olá, você apontou o telescópio para algum objeto astronômico? É preciso que você aponte para objetos bem distantes e focalize a imagem. Se sua câmera está formando imagens com a "lente olho de peixe", ao utilizá-la no telescópio ela deve funcionar também.
      Quando for usar o programa de aquisição de imagens, controle os valores de exposure e gain, eles podem estar muito altos. O principal é você primeiro apontar o telescópio para um objeto e usar o focalizador até formar a imagem e focá-la, tente com a lua primeiro.

      Olá, busque no mercado livre por "Suporte Adaptador Canon Dslr - Telescópios 1,25". Além do adaptador de 1.25" e o anel t-ring, tem um conjunto que vem o tambor. No caso você irá conectar o adaptador de 1.25 ao tambor, que por sua vez será conectado ao anel T-ring. Só tem uma coisa, as oculares maiores (compridas demais e/ou largas demais) não cabem dentro do tambor. Eu só consegui fazer isso para as oculares de 10, 25 e se não me engano uma de 8 mm

    I’ve just brought one of these and just getting familiar with the camera. I’ll be using it with my 127 Mac on the az-gti WiFi mount. So to view planets, moon and some dso’s do I have to have an eyepiece in the adapter? I do have that, or can you just attach a Barlow? Any info would be amazing! Cheers Benji.

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! I have two cameras that I use to get pictures, this one (showed in this video), it is a planetary camera with a small sensor, so it produces a high amplification and a very small field of view, so it is not good to get DSO's. The other camera is a Canon T6 EOS DSLR, it gets a big sensor (and a big field of view). I don't know how acquainted are you with these cameras, but to have an idea, this telescope with Canon, you can get the entire full moon with one shot, on the other hand, the planetary camera you get just a small piece of the moon. This adapter (showed in the video) works with some eyepieces, but you can use your camera without it, actually your telescope in this case works like the lens and the image produced by this lens is projected directly in the camera sensor. The ASI120 mc camera comes with a 1.25 adapter, I think it is your case. You can attach a barlow lens on it and put the set (camera + barlow) in the focuser.
      But take notice: If you buy a DSLR camera as Canon or nikon, you must buy a piece called T-ring adapter, this piece is attached on the 1.25 adapter and is used to conect the camera to the telescope, because they are not designed for telescopes, but for its own lenses. I hope it helped you xD

    Olá, qual o objetivo de usar ocular plugada na câmera? Eu poderia aumentar o campo de visão com isso?

    • @AstronoMarsChannel
      @AstronoMarsChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      São poucas oculares que se encaixam nesse suporte, mas eu diria que só diminui o campo de visão, pois já acoplei uma ocular de 25 mm e não formou imagem, mas a ocular de 10 mm ampliou bem mais. e a qualidade da imagem ficou muito boa. Eu pelo menos gostei muito dos resultados usando a ocular de 10+ barlow 2x + camera asi120mc.
