Yeah it makes me think of Felix Yusupov and Sergey Razumovsky in my fic. Though tbf Yusupov did have an opium addiction, and I'm drawing a parallel between their traumabonding/addictive relationship and the opium addiction.

When I first heard this song even before he started singing I thought it was gunna be about heroin or drugs. That depressing melody for some reason sounds like what I imagine a downward spiral and heroin addiction would sound like. It's hard to explain.
When i was addicted to heroin i would get high then sit in the bathroom and listen to this and Velvet Underground and Alice in Chains. Im 14 years sober now...my little sister however passed away 2/4/21 from a fentanyl overdose
Dangerous songs can fill the mind with bad ideas. I feel for all the families who have lost loved ones before their time. Innocent children of God. I used to listen to this song on repeat mode until life taught me otherwise. My beautiful there is nothing beautiful about filling your veins with poison. Families wrecked and misled down a rabbit hole 🕳 lost forever. I pray for all the families dealing with grief and pain for the rest of their lives. I wanted to keep it because you just couldn't do it now. I was just a kid trying to see the world huh? Now I'm covered in secrets like spiderwebs. I just...can't prove it anymore

Nothing like a needle filled with heroin and crack then as soon as that plunger drops having a pipe of crack at the second that gold hits the hairs in the back your your neck. Been clean a long time though, and can't say I miss it, the drugs lose their potency after years of abuse and you really just gain a sense of normality after using and that is not worth wasting your life for.

I rarely even *think* about dope anymore, but just hearing this guy's voice, let alone this song, brings me right back to my using days. I hate that I've ruined so many good songs and smells :(
