I'm so jealous! I'd be in heaven having a ranch full of awesome animals! Donkeys have the sweetest disposition. They have a noticeable sense of humor 😂 and can get silly when excited
The donkeys DO have such funny personalities! We’ve noticed they get a lot louder in the colder months too! They bray a lot more often for some reason. At least ours do! They are so funny! I love to watch them play from our front window in the evenings especially!
What is that metal thing you used towards the end of the video to make cubed potting soil for seed planting? I have never seen anything like that before.
I love the donkeys. Just gotta get my pen area all setup for which critters i want to add to the place. I would spoil the little tyke. Treat him more like a house pet than barn n pasture critter. Would confuse the heck out of Harley n Furball.

I am wanting sheep. Not sure on variety. African miniature goats. Want my turkeys. Going for heritage breed. I was told Dexter cows was the best to have. But i do want some longhorns just for show. Might go with the highland for that. I have my laying hens. All heritage breed. 20 of them for eggs for the house. And 40 meat birds. Haven't decided on meat pigs yet. Lord knows I have the property for it. Harley is my best friend. He's a taco bell dog raised by pitbull mommy with her pups. He think he's one of them. He is no Bigger than a pineapple. I am getting there.
I was also given two mini donkeys. I LOVE them!! One is gelded, the other a mare. Im thinking of breeding the mare to another mini. Where can I find good research and resources? I’m in the mid-west, USA.
Hi! Mini donkeys are 36” at the shoulders or shorter and microminis are 28” or smaller. Larger donkeys are standard and mules are a cross between a donkey and a horse. I hope that answers your question!

It’s a soil block maker. They come in real handy! And there are various sizes depending on how many soil blocks you want to make at once.

Maybe try seeing if there are any groups that are local to you! Facebook might have some good resources!
