This was very informative and helpful. My daughter been wanting custom press ons because going to the nail salon and getting your nails done isn’t in our budget. So I wanted to attempt creating cute nails for her and myself. I feel like I can really do this!
Thank you for the tips sis, & Yes the builder gel will have your press ons feeling like you just walked out the salon if you use it right… and quit frankly I been using it wrong 😂 thank for the tips on builder gel ❤ , I want to master it so bad! 🙄
You don’t have to use builder/hard gel if you don’t want to but it’s meant to give your nails an “acrylic like” feel because it slightly hardens the nail. Using only base coat can sometimes result in the nails still being thin so for extra strength you can add builder/hard gel or just add a few more layers of gel polish. But it is all a preference since everyone doesn’t use builder gel/hard gel. 🤍
For some people Builder gel is more of a preference than a need, its purpose is to give your press on nails more strength. It makes them feel acrylic like. You can make press on nails without it but I prefer the extra layer of strength and durability 🤍

So, what exactly is builder gel for? I thought you just need base and top gel

Why is builder gel needed for press on?
For some people Builder gel is more of a preference than a need, its purpose is to give your press on nails more strength. It makes them feel acrylic like. You can make press on nails without it but I prefer the extra layer of strength and durability 🤍
Do you offer virtual classes?
Hi, I offer a 1hr nail course 🤍
Those nails are abnormally long lol
