This is an outstanding video and perspective overall on the OL group. Another topic y’all didn’t mention was how Jaeden Roberts entered last season as a 3rd/4th string depth option to now being arguably our most polished returning lineman. I’m sure he’s been working hard his whole career at Alabama but there is definitely a bit more incentive now that he has legit interest from the NFL after how well he played last year.
Roll tide and thanks for the content Ty and Jake!!! Super excited about this season and believe our line will be much better especially with Proctor back.
The fact he admitted he jumped the gun and came back to play with his boys/take care of unfinished business speak volumes IMO. And the fact it was such big news when he decided to come back and not tweeting, but staying under the radar…..to me it says he’s out on a mission and is rdy to bust some domes with his boys. Rtr!
Proctor will be the first player picked in the draft when he comes out. If he loses weight and looks like he has and gets his speed better he’s a beast.
I'm certain that KP is working his butt off right now. He's a kid, he made a mistake. Show me a 19 yr old that hasn't. He's going to be a dominant LT for the next 2 years. And his story may help us land Haywood.
As both Ty & Jake point out - incredible integrity, humility and honesty from young Kadyn Proctor. For me a big shout out to his parents for raising an amazing son with great values so he is a great human being outside of football ability. I’m happy for the Tide to have his talent back but I think his leadership and integrity will stand out even more than his talented playing ability with everyone including the entire fan base and especially his teammates. Welcome back to Kadyn and THANK YOU to him for giving Coach DeBoer and his staff the respect to hear them out and realize he personally will benefit more from returning to Alabama. I also like Jake’s point of Kudos to Coach DeBoer for acknowledging how tough it was on current players when Coach Saban retired and giving Kadyn a second chance with the Tide! Coach DeBoer is another great human being as well as a great coach. ROLL 🏈 TIDE!
I would like to see Proctor start out the summer camp at 3rd behind Pritchett and Bertrand. Why? To show the team that he can back up his talk with action and earns the trust and proves authenticity to his teammates that he's deserving of being the starter. He does that, the OLine will be so galvanized to the point you won't recognize them from performances of Olines in years past. Roll Tide - Coach AL
That's where he will start Fall camp. He knows that he has to out work the guys to whom he gave up his position. He will. And every tackle, every lineman knows that he's going to earn his position back. Proctor will be a beast this fall.
Don't know what happened behind closed doors about this at Bama. If I was the coach, I would have listened to why Proctor wanted to come back. If Proctor's answers were honest and pure, then I would welcome him back under the following 2 conditions. #1: the bama players want welcome him back. #2: entering summer camp, Proctor would not be 1st string starter. He would have to work his way up to 1st string.
He played well last year as a freshman. Some mistakes, sure.. He will play better as an individual but much better because the o-line will be better. Barring injury Formby and Proctor will both play.
If he's truly apologetic for this mistake, then wouldn't he return the money he received from Iowa to commit there, rather than keep it and continue running it on Iowa's face? 🤔
Iowa’s NIL collective released a statement saying that Proctor had not received NIL from them, and that he only got NIL from a local business when he was there sponsoring him. If he satisfied the obligations of that deal with the business then why would he give it back?
I think that we are all overlooking the fact that Proctor missed EVERY rep so far. He already struggled last year and now there's a whole new system/playbook to master. Just because no games were played doesn't mean that he missed nothing by transferring back before the season starts
I don't disagree, but he has been "practicing" in a manner. He has remained really close with the OL unit. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they have relayed a lot of the changes and had him working on it. He was also just working with a trainer and several other of the OL for Bama. But it's going to be interesting to see

appreciate your site .....you do a great job !
Thank you very much! It means a ton that you took the time to check out the video 🙏🏼
Happy to have him back. We all make mistakes. Especially while we're young. RTR!

I sure hope so, he has a high upside!
Enjoy watch your videos Ty! Keep up the good work

Great insight Coach! This OL is a unit I had questions about, but as more time passes those questions turn to excitement quick
I hope everybody starts spring EVEN!!! It is time to earn the #1 spot, hard work earns respect!!!

Very fair
Roll Tide from Naples Florida
My Prediction JOE MORE AWARD WINNING LINE. Proctor, Booker,Brailsford, Roberts and Formby with the help from 2 or three other guys as well
Yeah this OL is a unit that I am starting to get real excited about
@@aroundthetablesports I'm with on that one, a bunch of mean and lean bulldozing d-linemen machines . #RDGT
Not saying your wrong at all, just curious why you have Formby instead of Pritchard(sp)
@nickjones4556 either would be a solid pick. Personally I think with the new blocking scheme being so movement intensive Formby could really shine
@@aroundthetablesports Right on. That makes sense.
I had mixed feelings about him coming back but glad he is here!
Yeah I always operated inter the assumption that if the team wanted him back then I was excited to have him return
RTR TY and Jake

We don't want Caleb Downs if he didn't want to be at Alabama
