- Join us as i go exploring SW France with Shaz, chasing those wild carp from public venues. I catch a couple of stunning carp and get to spend time at what can only be described as a glorious lake with outstanding views 👌🏻🇫🇷🎣

Cheers Steve, yes mate i remember well..we have had a far amount of rain down here last 48hrs so the Garonne is pushing through a bit. My intention is to fish the Garonne more..i love how wild that river is 😀💪🏻

Some people believe carp don’t know what boilies are and they won’t take them. You catch wild, river fish on a consistent basis. Fish I assume have never seen a boilie before. What is your take on fish having to “learn” what a boilie is? Thanks Jim!!
Hi James, most of my fishing is done chasing unknown & previously uncaught carp. They have a natural instinct which tells them what food is and what is edible. Believe me they are happy to eat a boilie on first sight! Maize is great bait for wild uncaught carp..unfortunately everything which swims loves it too 😁👍🏻🎣

Cheers Darren 👍🏻 The VNF are similar to our British Waterways. They are in charge of majority of rivers & canals in France. It was nothing to serious, parking on their land by mistake

Hi James, it really doesn't matter..any decent boilie will do! I'm a big believer in that the angler catches the fish not the bait, i could use many different baits and catch the same fish 🎣 it's about having confidence in what your using
