La Cumparsita es uruguaya. Es casi tan significativa para nosotros como el himno nacional. Fué escrita por la hermana de Gerardo Matos Rodríguez, quien la tocó por primera vez en la esquina de 18 de Julio y la Plaza Independencia de Montevideo. Pero Gerardo Matos Rodríguez no sabía solfeo y fue su hermana quien la llevó a la Partitura Musical

He’s using a nylon string but I’d recommend you get a normal acoustic or electric to get the fundamentals down. The quality doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner so just get the cheapest you can find that’s over 120$
