When he said "her... mom?" it makes me think he had a mom he cared about and feels bad for Pixie because she lost something that reminded her of her mother.
Knowing that she cried so much that Randal helped her most likely this was either before Brutus arrived or he was out on a walk during this cause there is no way he would of allowed her to stay sad
I’m guessing the reason Randall did it is because when Lola said, I think she got it from her mom, I think it gave him a flashback and he probably had some Mom issues in his past so I’m guessing that’s why he did that
As a human, i would sew it up. But first id put fresh catnip. Maybe sew in some velcro so it can have replaced stuffing and catnip. When we got our puppy many moons ago, i ripped up old shirts and carefully braided them into different length rope toys for him. I passed down a few kitty toys(sanatized of course) from my old childhood cats. Hes a good boy to (mostly). Loves catnip and string toys flying around fast.
