Great Review! Your Review made me pull out my HCSB Study Bible (which I love dearly) and compare it to my CSB Study Bible. I love the color inside of the HCSB and the beautiful leather cover (Indexed). I purchased the CSB in hardback (Indexed) for $11.98. The cover you are showing is beautiful. Surprisingly, much of the content is the same. The pictures in the CSB are the same yet larger. But in the HCSB although smaller ~ more eye-catching because of the color. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🌴🌄
Thank you for your review of the CSB Study Bible. I have the CSB and HCSB Study Bibles and find the translation midway between formal equivalence and dynamic equivalence interpretations. I like the theology of the study bible overall. A social media friend of mine compiled the Three-Year Reading plan for these study bibles.
Very well done. It is a great study Bible. I’ve got it in goatskin and then also the leather touch. I bought the leather touch first and liked it enough to get the goatskin edition. I reviewed the goatskin one but not the other, since the contents are the same. I also really like the HCSB translation too. Great in depth review.
A Frisch Perspective yeah I’ve stocked up on them to give to people I meet who needs a Bible and do not have one. I’ve been able to get some for $10 each instead of the $40-50 retail price so it’s great to give a nicer Bible to someone.
Excellent review, I wasn’t bored at all. You’re really good, and you encouraged me to go ahead and get this study Bible. Maybe the HCSB, for the price. Thanks 🙏
I use the ESV Study Bible but also like this one for its illustrations, maps, word studies as well as the overall styling and layout. Thanks for sharing.
I bought one after your recommendation. Wish the type were bigger but it is not an issue. Wanted a go to book. Plenty of stuff online so. So far fantastic. I can read the CSB easy. A lot of scholarship was put in, so it is not a biased translation. Thank you, Sir. I was a Nashvillian for a long time, from Maine originally. When I moved to TN I did not see any cowboy hats or boots, but a lot of smart people. Peace to you, Sir.
I have used the hcsb for a bit- but and I have a CSB , but at my age I’m drifting back to the AV or NKJV. It’s like do I wear relax fit wranglers, or task my hip into skinny jeans. The wranglers are a lot like the NKJV- they just fit better.
I was hoping you would give a comparison of the HCSB and the CSB in terms of do they both have the same pictures, charts, study notes? I have and really like the HCSB so am wondering if I’m gaining anything significant by getting a CSB as well?
Good job. I like your comparison of the csb with the hcsb. Yes it is funny that they changed the world language two tongues. They should have left it the way it was.
Asking a point blank question. I love the CSB. I have the HCSB old study Bible. Do I NEED the CSB study Bible? I trust your advice. Either I spend or save money.
Really enjoyed the reviews of the 3 Study Bibles (NIV, EVS & CSB)! Based on the 3 criteria of Content, Overall size/Portability and Readability (easy to see print for older eyes), which would you recommend if having to choose only one? If I am not mistaken, the NIV in large print is huge, the EVS a bit smaller, but still quite heavy. How does the CSB compare in that regard?

I have this Bible. Love it.

I'm a esv study bible girl, but I been researching bible handbooks or other bibles, to help me understand. I love the colorful maps and pics.

The HSCB is such a great deal right now, too, which is another great thing about it.

I love the hcsb! Clear and faithful in my opinion

Exactly !
That is why I buy good HCSBs whenever and wherever I can find them. But I did buy one CSB, too.
Asking a point blank question. I love the CSB. I have the HCSB old study Bible. Do I NEED the CSB study Bible? I trust your advice. Either I spend or save money.
Is there a Study Bible in the CSB you'd highly recommend?
Sadly I can’t read the 7 point font in study notes. 😢

I think the ESV Large Print Study Bible would be a great choice for a lot of people.
@@AFrischPerspective I have been using the ESV Study Bible since its release. For the last 4 + years I have been using the LP edition. I love it.
You can download it FREE. Its AHHMAZING. Google play store.
Is there a bible version that you DID NOT like? If so, why not? and which was it?
There is some irony regarding an uncensored bible coming out of China.
My NIV Study Bible that I really found Jesus was a Holman.
