With the fact that we somehow went from complex 50+ minute orchestras and concertos, to 3 chords over a 1-2 drum beat with generic lyrics... Exactly. I was thinking the same thing when they show his picking hand up close for a second. Not the first time he's held a pick. He may not be great but he's definitely better than what he's displaying here.
I think the vocals and the guitar go very well together. You can tell by the passion radiating from him that the years of practice have certainly paid off. Basically exactly like the original
Guys, go through life with the confidence this guy had. People will laugh and mock you for what you do and who you are, but you keep on doing what you love if it makes you truly happy. Because in the end, the only person who will be there to answer the question "Do you regret your life?"... is yourself, not the haters, not the mockers. They'll be long gone and you'll have to live with yourself and what you spent your life doing.
Covering up your lack of competence with false confidence is not a good strategy. I don't think he is confident anyway, probably just a bit 'special'.
@@stephenhughes5156but you can take that fake confidence, and make it into something more real now that you believe in yourself more. works for me.
This is terrible advice. Self awareness is a valuable skill unless you let it become an obstacle. This guy is so unaware that he’s blissfully going through life absolutely shafting himself.
That's what most serial killers thought too
ya being delusional is not healthy. But it's hard to believe this wasn't a purposeful joke.
"No hell, below us"
Nope, we're experiencing it right here in this audition
😂
He obviously gets his talents from his mother, Yoko Ono.
ok
Haha just wanted to write the same :)
as soon as the panel heard him they all thought.....O no
😂😂😂👍
Racist
Bro is definitely trolling lmaooo
im so proud of him, i myself cant do what this guy can do.
Same
I bet you can!
You can't sing this bad, this guy was born to destroy music.
He’s way ahead of his time. Well look back at this masterpiece and realize how amazing he is once it’s too late
please just stop patronizing him
With the fact that we somehow went from complex 50+ minute orchestras and concertos, to 3 chords over a 1-2 drum beat with generic lyrics... I wouldn't be surprised if this de-evolution of music we saw in this video actually is the future of popular music. It would follow the linear path popular music has taken for sure.
He forgot to tune his guitar before the show
This is a symphony of harmony. Very touching, my soul is at ease listening to this masterpiece...
As a musician whenever I'm feeling doubts about myself I come back to this video for reassurance.
“Do you have anything more up-tempo?”
**moves up one string**
This sounds like something you’d hear in tomodachi life
Stripped back accoustic, love it!
I loved the cliffhanger at the end.
Brilliant! He created a old hit song just by tuning his guitar. Millennials are so creative. Joke
😂😂😂
Lol!
Appreciation
Wow, if u didn't write "joke" I've never understand that it was a joke😆😆. joke
Joke
AHAHAHAHAH joke
Why does the guitar sound like the default Microsoft midi soundfont
He's either trolling the judges, or it's a scripted audition like 90% of every talent show ever and everybody in it are just good actors. Either way, this is quite an entertaining clip.
Imagine there's no guitar,
Imagine you're kicked off by the judges
Ting ting ting ting🎸
🤣
what really matters is he is singing with his heart and soul. He is feeling it.
Not only is this horrible, I'm almost positive his guitar is out of tune by like a whole note.
All of the dogs in the neighborhood are howling within a 5 mile radius.
At least he went up there and tried. That’s more balls than the shit talkers not doing anything but typing on a keyboard. Good for him
I can't deny, i took that personally, first of all, how fucking dare you
@@jerrysmith3017 how the fuck can you possibly take that personally?
But you miss the point. The fact that this poor talentless chap has volunteered to go through this pantomime means that his piss poor performance is very much up for scrutiny by one and all. That is why people watch this crap.
Anybody can make a fool of themselves. If I can't play or sing I won't go in there
😂😂😂😭
This is a good example of the beginning stage of the Dunning Kruger effect. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
"Yeah I'm selft-taught, how do you know ?"
I genuinely think they pay people to come in and perform horrendously just for its comedic effect
This is the version you hear in a horror movie when someone is about to be slaughtered
This is the ultimate troll. The steps this guy went through to make this happen couldn't have been easy.
What do you mean? He has amazing talent. "🪕diudiudiu🗣️Imagine there's no heaven. It's easy if you try." 👏🏻
I was waiting for the twist 😂
So the age old debate between feel and technique is finally settled... you don't need either.
As someone who plays guitar I can tell you this was staged he actually knows how to play I can tell by his hand positioning but it’s still funny because I did the same thing starting out
Exactly. I was thinking the same thing when they show his picking hand up close for a second. Not the first time he's held a pick. He may not be great but he's definitely better than what he's displaying here.
Yes but how would you keep a straight face?🤣
Yup. His picking and positioning and control give it away. He's intentionally mocking the show.
@@abyssmanur3965 practice, what else?
Each failure brings you one step closer to success.
"This is a Quentin Tarantino movie" had me dyin🤣
1:03 "SOOOOMEbody once told me the world is gonna roll me.... I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed."
I fell for it. 😔
Lol I was thinking the same
This is actually amazing. The tone, the commitment, wow.... Bravo.
I think the vocals and the guitar go very well together.
You can tell by the passion radiating from him that the years of practice have certainly paid off. What I'm really impressed by is how he effortlessly flowed from one song to the next.
His voice kind of reminded me of Barbra Streisand with just a hint of Steve Perry in his prime.
Personally I think he's a step above this type of competition.
I'm not sure who the judges are but it's nice to see that they also are quite impressed.
The best I've seen in quite a while. Nice work 👍
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂……You’re KILLIN’ ME!!!
LMAO!!! 😂
@@davidporshia5081 killing you softly, then? 😁
I was such a dumb, it took me years to realized these kind of auditions are scripted
As a guitarist myself this guy is my spirit animal lol
He is lucky to have a very supportive family / friends to endure him
I’m fucking telling you now… and I shit you not… when he said the word “Some…” on his second attempt I thought it was gonna be “someBODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WOOOORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME”
EXACT SAME THOUGHTS LMAO
NO NO NO GET IT OUTTA MY HEAD AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Those jazz scales are perfect.
This is the only guitar solo on youtube that has motivated me to keep playing rather than motivating myself to sell my guitar
Plot twist: He's actually from the future, and this type of song is actually popular there we just don't understand it yet.
Yeah seeing music degrade day by day I guess that's what happens in future
That's a classical guitar. When you see a guy with one of those as opposed to an acoustic like strummers and buskers use, he can usually actually play it. He's winding them up. I used to do this then break into a fast flamenco or classical piece.
I’ve met people who bought a classical thinking that it was an acoustic, never judge a guitarist by their instrument, since they could’ve just picked up anything.
No
@@Laserkitten Or he could have inherited it from a deceased relative or something
@@LittleLulubee possibly for one of them, but as for my friend, he told me he thought it was an acoustic
I got simply guitar ad on this video 😂
Didn’t even recognized the song till 0:35 Lool
Right?! Jeeezus.
And that kid grew up to be Eric Clapton
bro really doing modern art on a guitar 💀
He's now the guitarist for Dragonforce
