do you go for a walk with the wolf or how does that work? in my country if you have a dog they consider dangerous you have to pay a special tax over 2k$ a month and you can only go outside with special leash, muzzle and only special areas, not in public. and thats for a dog, i dont think they allow wolf :D for that reason this video is so interesting. i think more people would keep other animals as pets and we would see how they are really like. but they dont allow anything but dog and cat.
I do walk them, and they are both spazzes. Here in the US wolves are only legally “wolves” if they’re 98% genetically a wolf. Kane isn’t *98%* so he’s legally not (federally) ‘wolf’ enough to be illegal. State legality varies after federal law, and my state is fine with it.
When a dog is burrying his paws in the bed, he's "denning". It's denning behaviour, it means the wolf is comfortable with this bed and wants to make it his own den.
Husky plays like my Foxhound with my Dutch/Mal Mutt. Goes for the neck and ears. Though at least your dogs don't try to kill each other every play session. Trapper's just the worst. He's the foxhound, I guess not having someone to play with for 3 years will do that, but I tried dog parks, NOTHING. He was just stand-offish, would let dogs sniff him and he'd sniff back, but that was it. Then I get Zelda (Dutch/Mal/Lab/Pit Mix) and he played with her at the shelter right away. And plays with her, but did break her leg within the first 3 weeks of owning her, chomped through both bones in the arm.
