The real question being posed here is: how good is your whole teams team synergy? Can you trust your team mates to be on the same page as you and facilitate what you need without stepping your/your team mates/or their own toes? If you can confidently say yes in everything then you could unlock higher dps and total damage via bequest (+ witherhoard). If you can't fir any reason, then laments consistency will serve better
I've been running banner of war, witherhoard, and a crafted bequest and can get a high 5 mil damage (throughout boss fight and not per dps phase of course) and rech low 6 mil once.
Bro you just blew my mind. I've been using my crafted Bequest since Crota raid dropped and never once considered using Witherhorde even though Witherhorde is my top 5 most used weapons. Where the fuck was my brain on this? lmao
another thing to consider is lament causes you and the boss to rubberband out of the well which leads to less damage also various terrain issues and rubberbanding can lead to you doing a combo in the air with lament which has a much longer recovery, also lowering your dmg. This is the biggest reason bequest is better than lament as while lament is revving and getting stuck in recoveries you are just spamming lights.
I wonder if its worth having 1 person use zephyr with cold steel to add possible shatter damage. Or will it be like rockets where that hurts everyone damage. I really hope bungie see's this and realizes swords need a rework much like fusion rifles got in season 15 or 16. Why is the impact of every sword basically 60 across the board? Why do caster frames suck so much? Why dont they want us to have a sword meta again?
Any legendary that can do close-ish damage to its respective exotic, im taking the legendary to open up the exotic for either more dmg or utility in another slot
Yeah, on crota with lament. My highset dmg was 6.8. With bequest on my 3rd try, i got 7.9. I had like maybe 5 WH shots with it. Its very situational. But it is very good in those situations.
@@TheJavie06 arbi one shots the sheild because thats its exotic perk, it can 1 shot any sheild. the anti-barrier portion has no effect for either exotic/weapon with the champ mod (ex. anti-barrier auto)
i feel like its all give and take. where u can pair witherhorde with bequest for better damage; lament comes with a healing factor for better solo play (if ur not a warlock) (or if ur a warlock NOT on well)

Witherhoard can be adding damage too that Lament can't work with...
100% and people are not recognizing that! Bequest is the winner simply that it does not take an exotic slot and the damage is on par

They all have their down falls, bequest can lose surrounded just by an ad walking away, resulting in a loss of its biggest buff
I run out of ammo quick with Lament during Crota dps phase, Lament also pushes Crota away from wells.

100%, bequest dishin out some damage for sure
Its only close if you keep surrounded up if you lose it its just like any other sword

Great vid dude
Appreciate u my guy
Doesn't lament do extra damage to that boss because of the shield though?
Every weapon does
@@IanEvolution it doesn't act like arbalest and do extra with shield piercing?

Lament can't win because it eats an exotic slot.

Yes, because you need another exotic during this..
@@Clarity_Control fair. 😆
Does anyone else think Ian sounds just like Anthony Jeselnik? Finally put my finger on it at the end of the video. Same tone and cadence at times.
I get aztecross alot
No its not It is only better if you keep the buff the entire dmg phase if you lose surrounded at any point its worse
This WAS said in the video 👍🏻
