REPAIRING a HYPERBOOM Bluetooth speaker from Ultimate Ears - Let's get this working again!

Today's fix is an Ultimate Ears HYPERBOOM Bluetooth speaker that has a damaged power socket.
How did it get like this? I've no idea, but let's try and get this monster of a speaker working again, it certainly deserves it!
As of the time of recording I couldn't find any teardown videos of this speaker on TH-cam, so this was something of a voyage of discovery with one or two mistakes along the way!

So a bit of an update to the video, it appears that you can remove the screw/bolt things holding down the white plastic by using an Allen key, so no need to use pliers! 👍 I knew there must be an easier way. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for this video, iv’e been waiting for someone to tear this thing down. My sub is blown hopefully someone does a replacement with 3rd party parts one day.
