@@TheSlipAngleI know you’ve had the exhaust for a minute (I follow you on ig haha) did you ever get a chance to drive it before you put the car away? Really curious about whether or not there’s drone at all
I think titanium is not the best choice of material for exhaust. Other than weight savings itll just crack because of heat and the material expanding and shrinking becouse of it.
@@patrykkowalski6 titanium has a higher melting point than stainless steel, therefore it is more resistant to heat than stainless steel. it is also vastly more corrosion resistant. when compared WITH equal weight, titanium is far stronger than stainless steel.
New subscriber here. Great video. Excellent before and after weight data. I’ve had my Supra since June of 21’. I’ll be upgrading to aftermarket wheels this summer and exhaust. I have a catless downpipe and would like a link for that exhaust. It’s sounds exactly how an aftermarket exhaust should. Deeper with better refinement. Keep these videos on the Supra coming, dare I say : even in the winter.
I bought it through RHD Japan as they had the best pricing on it and took advantage of their black friday promo in 2023. Now that the car is catless it's actually significantly quieter than my friends catless car with the stock exhaust.
Beautiful exhaust! Interestingly, sound levels seem similar although deeper (I know recorded audio never comes through perfect on video). Can’t wait to hear it under load. I think it would sound perfect with the downpipe.
Gorgeous Supra.. glad you went with such an awesome car for your fun/comfortable cruiser! Any chance you have cool projects in the works regarding the RX8?
Stock does sound great but it gets too loud when catless. Now that I'm catless (videos not posted yet) this exhaust is damn near perfect and much quieter than the stock exhaust without the cat.
Wow, is this really Quinn??!? Been watching your stuff since wayyyy back, since the your NA1 engine breakdown days and before that. Back when you had like 100 subs and was still posting great content and was thinking how big of a mountain it is to climb as the algorithm favors T&A over useful car content. Keep it up my guy, rooting for ya and the crew!
Yeah I just don't know if it's worth it. I just ditched the Shorai battery in my RX-8 and went to a slightly heavier Braille AGM because I got tired of it dying within 1 week of not being on a tender with the factory electronics. The supra has much more going on so I'd be weary about going with a smaller battery. I know the stock seats are heavy as well but damn they are comfy and they look good too.
@@TheSlipAngle I know but I've seen some amazing single exhaust valved set ups, the twin pipes just look too Euro (bmw) rather then screaming 'Supra'. Wicked car though, love the mods.
Looks like a sick exhaust for sure!
:)
Theres a yellow A90 in California thats had the SARD exhaust since 2022. None the less this is goals. I need one!
rats lol

can never go wrong with a full Ti exhaust 👌🏽🔰
Love titanium!

The new exhaust tips matches the color of the TE37’s. Great job!
Now with some miles on the exhaust, the blue tamed down a lot and I've grown fond of the look!
That sounds fire !!! Nice smoke rings
Thank you! Agreed!

Small spoiler, with the car now catless, this exhaust is ridiculously quiet compared to Felix's supra catless with the stock exhaust.

Thanks man. Yes! There is a ton of content coming for it including: Titanium exhaust, mazdaspeed bodykit, Adaptronics ECU, Turbo Kit :)
@ best news I’ve heard all day!! I know Ryan rotary performance is working on a brand new turbo kit aswell!
That's a beautiful exhaust, but the stock exhaust sounded louder and better imo

@@TheSlipAngle Makes sense, that's a win!
It’s been awhile, but what fender is that? Maybes it’s the lighting but that paint match looks way off and the fitment seems pretty off.
Rexspeed. They come pre-painted. The camera picks up the shade difference more than the human eye. Fitment is decent, I'd say 8.5 out of 10.

i always wonder what the b58 would sound like without the turbos muffling that glorious straight 6
It still sounds good, just gets loud AF. Our friend has a complete straight pipe m240i
For weight reduction on the supra, seat and lithium battery are the best.
@@paulg3870 if you have baller money, you could also go with carbon trunk, hood, fenders and have them painted factory color.

Thing needs a SINGLE CAN!!
Where is your Tomei sirrrrr
Then you lose the valve capability and it's just loud all the time. It's a luxury sports car, it should retain the valve functionality :)

Nice but a lot of money for weight reduction 😊
Also for the ability to remain quiet while catless and still use the exhaust valve.
Not really a huge difference in sound surprisingly
