It's nice to see it in person and I appreciate the comparison to 802 which any short pipper has surely come across at one time or another so it's a good reference point. Thank you.
I'm the same person as before. Different YT account here. So I ordered this rubber and had a hit session with it today. Honestly really pretty impressed. If you like 802, then you'll like this. That's my short review of it. it does feel heavy as you noted but that doesn't bother me. I'm using it on my BH for the occasional chop (i'm a single wing penholder so that RPB side doesn't get used much) and honestly? For being 2.0, that was as thin as I could get it with sponge from Ali Express, I really like it and thought it chopped really nice. I twiddled and counter it with it a little too. Yeah reminds me of good ole 802. 802 came in this 35 deg sponge (pretty sure that's the sponge you have on the 802-40 here in the video) that was soft in the one I had. I'd say this orange sponge is just a hair firmer. I'd classify it as medium hardness. But yes I like it. Can do anything with it, but it chopped much better than I expected. I was testing out dead/low spin chops vs heavy backspin chops and it can do both. Today my practice session was against more hitters than anything. Need to test it out vs more skilled, heavier spin loopers but all in all I'm a fan. Can't beat the price if nothing else.
I am a loyal fan of classic short pips, and usually play with 802 or 802 mystery, 1.7-8 mm with 35 degree hardness on a Hinoki based blade. I prefer it on my forehand, but can twiddle to my backhand. I gave up on the newer bouncy and spinny short pips because they are too spin sensitive. The Meteor 845 looks interesting. How would you compare it to 802 or 802 Mystery in so far as speed and spin sensitivity ? Also, where did you buy your Meteor 845 ? Thanks for this video.

Es de una dureza de 40 grados, existe de 1.5 y 2.0. Dos tipos de color de esponja… Naranja y Blanca. Al bloquera se baja consistentemente, y da un muy buen efecto, para golpear o top spin. Lo compre en Aliexpress, en la tienda Beo Store… sin muy serios y responsable

@@CustomTableTennis thank u been looking for vid like this.
Rebota bastante?
