Transport is easy available. Ask any auto wala aur taxi. Taxi stand near partition museum will take you there. Or ask your hotel to arange auto or taxi. You can also get bus from Bus stand.

@@Sanskruti-2222 a tourist guide is not needed. Book a hotel close to the Golden temple then everything is walkable. And a good cab can help you reach the Wagah Attari Border. If you want i can share a contact whom I hired very recently. He was a wonderful person very safe and sound vehicle.
