Mark is proof that size does NOT matter...he has the incredible ability to get the most out of a small kit. It`s not about speed, stick tricks or flaming drums. It`s just about grooving with amazing creativity. Mark, u are the best!!
Such a controlled and understated playing style, but still powerful, and always creative. Awesome. Always fun to see (what I call) the "Zonder-isms" make an appearance. The little accents, the way the toms/chinas are part of a groove, etc.

Don't know if Mark is reading these comments, but I'm looking for a small sized setup with DW's "famed" low-timbre shells. If I understand the hype properly, they can get 14" floor tom to sound like an 18" floor tom. This set was apparently "custom" made. That can mean a lot of things...but, I'm wondering if Mark had this in mind. My reasons are two fold, 1). Ergonomics. A kit with smaller drums is FAR easier to position, and I hate have ANY-thing behind me (on either side). I want everything in front of me....even if it's off to the right....I still want it in front of my body. 2). Smaller drums are easier to tune....(IMO). *I'm wondering if DW can make me a kit consisting of 8", 10", 14, 20....that sounds like 10, 12, 16, 22....or bigger. A LOT can be done in the studio, so I'm not entirely sure what I'm hearing....but, he's got his kit sounding very similar to what I'm hoping for. Hopefully, Mark will reply.

Your 10” Tom sounds deeper than the 12”, on my maple/mahogany kit! Thanks again brother….hope this comment finds you well. P.S. Yes, absolutely….Coated Ambassadors are my go-to, as well. 👍

I like Bobby as he is kinda a mix of Zonder and Adler.Before you write me nasty shit about Adler being "just" a power drummer, remember that he played with Booby's brother in Blotted Science.Technical death metal especially as complex as Blotted Science is extremely difficult.Bobbys got that mix of finese and power, he's a good choice for FW
